Thank you so much for posting these pictures. I've been on the fence about this bag for so long because of that. There is a Damier Azur Noe on Ebay right now that's HORRIBLE - and I'm like "ahhhhh"!!!!!!! But I see now that the problem was that vachetta on the bottom and the scuffing. Obviously with the Speedy design, that wouldn't be an issue.

OMG I saw that one!! It looks terrible. I don't think I could have an Azur bag with that much vachetta. But I think Speedy or Saleya are good choices.

jchiara - You're welcome for the pictures :) I too saw that particular Azur noe & its patina is just horrible IMO. It is beyond what my liking. I agree with princess_eab in that the Speedy or Saleya are better choices.

If you guys are not tired of seeing patina yet, here are a few more:

To change up the pace *just slightly*, here's what an example of what a bad patina'd Azur a la water marks looks like :

I'm curious too, but I guess it depends on how you care and/or use the bag to be able to get that darker brown/black patina. I'm not so sure I'd like the Azur as much if it has that type of patina though...The darkest patina on the Azur I've seen so far is the one in my 1st post on this thread. Otherwise, it seems as though everyone's doing a fairly good job with keeping to their honey patinas. It seems to be "the" most seen patina so far.

Here's one with a dark golden-honey/orange-ish patina:

Thanks for all the pics, beautibabe! I really like that evenly patina'd 25. It's just so pristine and adorable.

Beautibabe, ur an ANGEL! I was looking for this very info and with the search feature down I was getting discouraged. I recently sold my Saleya that I bought last year. I put it away after carrying it less than a month last year because I didn't like the look as soon as the patina started forming. I still like the Azur so I was considering a Speedy and was wondering how one with a fair amount of patina would look and SHAZAM, u provided it. Thx again! I LVoe this forum!!!

sugarcookie72 - You're welcome! ^_^ I think the 25s & 30s would look fabulous with patina, provided that they're even & occur naturally.

penjaxn - Aww You're so welcome! It was nothing really. I'm just glad to be able to contribute to tpf & help people visualize the patina'd Azur speedy so that they can make an informed decision when making their purchase (w/o having buyer's remorse!). I'm always on the lookout for more pictures to add here, so keep checking back
