Damier Azur Speedy with Patina *PICS!*

congrats on the speedy Azur 25. I will be getting a mono speedy 30 probably in two weeks. I too am new to LV so stay in touch, i would like to know how the wilson leather treatment works..

thank you so much crazyboutcoach, I too am crazy about Coach, that is where my collection is, I have at least 25 bags, I am venturing into LV now. I am happy to see that the speedy is still hot (in), I thought maybe it was played out now. I am nervous about the Galliera PM Azur with patina, that is the one I want to carry even in fall/winter. would you say the white is a winter white, or pure white??

Oh, I think that ANY Azur bag would look great in fall/winter! Cream & white are both yr round colors now & the pale grayish blue is definitley yr round (in some lighting my bag looks white & pale blue & sometimes it looks light cream & light gray all of which looks great yr round)! I'd be leary about wearing this bag on wet or drizzly winter days, I would hate for that vachetta to get water spots! I think the overall colors & pattern of the Azur looks both wintery & summery! Such a classic neutral this bag is! Alot of people say they like Ebony because of the fact that you can wear it anything, I'm not sure how that brown would look with a black outfit, I guess, technically, it could go because black & brown are neutrals but azur really does go with everything, I tried it on with a bright purple shirt & was amazed at how awesome they looked together! Azur goes with absolutley EVERY color! It would be so refreshing to see the Azur carried in the Winter amid all the black & brown bags everyone else carries in the Fall/Winter! These bags are too beautiful to be carried only seasonly! ....P.S. You have 25 bags! Thats hella awesome! I've just started to get rid of all my cheap, old no-name bags in favor of quality brand bags that will last forever! I have 1 Coach, 1 Gucci & 1 LV so far but I have recently been bitten by the "designer bag-bug" & can't wait until I can cross off the items on my wish-list!

ok I am sold. I wanted to get the speedy 30 mono first and then the galliera pm azur, but now i may get the galliera first and speedy later. OR I may get two speedys, mono and azur. I am almost scared to go buy it, isn't that silly. I have hyped myself up too much. Thank you crazyboutcoach, I almost bought another coach bag yesterday, I am glad I didn't, I should go ahead and make that first LV purchase.

Glad I could help! Yeah I think you should make that 1st LV purchase, I carried mine out for the 1st time today (had been too rainy to otherwise) & In my area everyone seems to have a signature Coach or Coach knock-off which I call a "Foach" & you should've seen the stares I got with my LV! My husband said about 1 woman "I thought she was going to stare a hole right through your purse"! LOL I would love to have a galleria, I think that would be a beautiful choice, I also can tell you that I love my speedy it was a good introduction to LV for me & am thinking about getting the Ebony one as well to wear on those bad weather days! Oh & speaking of being silly, I had 1st ordered my Azur, called back then changed it to Ebony then called back for the 3rd time to change it back to Azur! The LV phone rep was like are you sure this is the color you want? LOL! How embarassing but I'm glad I got the Azur 1st, it's such a light & pretty bag! Good luck with your purchase & I hope you love it no matter what you choose!

I had originally wanted the damier azur Galleria GM, but I was worried how it would look with the Patina. Thanks to everyone posting their pics, I am in ♥ with how it looks with the honey patina!

I finally got the Wilson's spray in the mail today and plan to spray my Speedy --- I'm nervous

It says on the bottle it takes 2 hours to dry and not to saturate it. (Maybe that's how other peoples' Speedys got ruined).

Maybe I'll start with the Mono since it's older with darker patina....

Just sprayed my azur speedy and so far so good
The spray made it only slightly darker (a slight shade) and I did NOT saturate it - just a light coat on all the vachetta - even the piping. It says to apply 2 coats to new bags but I'm going to wait until it totally dries.
So far I definitely recommend the Wilson's spray and I got a coupon online for free shipping off the total order. (If you have store near you, you're lucky).
Unlike the Apple Garde this is not oily and it's non-aerosol too.
I think I need a stiff drink though....

Here's me after the second coat, haha! So far both Speedys are doing well! They dried to their normal color! I meant to post pix earlier but forgot (hiccup) just kidding..

I may sell my Apple garde because I'm too scared to use it!

The Wilson's didn't even smell bad and I even put my Mono in my closet soon after or the cats would get to it.. don't ask... they must have the addiction too. Too many bags left lying around is fair game I guess...

Well I signed up for promotions on Wilson's website & they sent me a free shipping promo too! I got the wilson's spray for $8.66 total! I will use it on my Coach bag with vachetta trim 1st & if I can get the same results as you did then I'll use it on my LV vachetta. I know that LV says not to use anything but I recently had a scare with lipstick on my vachetta (thank goodness babywipes took it right off!) I guess I had lipstick on my hand & touched the handles. It was negligible but I noticed it! I need to protect my vachetta with something for peace of mind! I am glad you acheived great results with the wilson's spray on your vachetta LVLoveaffair! I will update y'all on how my treatment goes!

Yes, that is the exact spray I used and today I was juggling "sweaty" Slurpee cups (my 2 sons') pressed against the handles of my Azur and I almost dropped them to save my bag!
I remembered I waterproofed the bag and then prayed no wet marks would remain - sure enough, when I was able to check the handles about 10 minutes later - distractions of course - no marks~
You're a Coach person too - you know the Slim envelope wallet? I wonder if this spray would protect all that vachetta too. Mine is too old of course but I bet it would look brand new if I had known about it five year ago!
