That is INSANE! I just posted a question regarding the price of relining a bag's interior......now I am scared!

That's how much it costs to get the vachetta replaced on the Noe too! RIDICULOUS!

Wow, I never realized how pricey it was...honestly, I think it's a way of discouraging people from replacing vachetta and instead, pushing them into just getting a new bag.

It's because they have to literally remake the entire bag and take it completely apart. There's also a tremendous amount of leather.

Wow!! That's really expensive!! But I guess they have to stitch the vachetta back onto the original LV bag... Never knew it cost that much! That's really unfortunate! :(

For that price, I'd rather just pay a little more and get a new bag instead.

Hmmm....I just saw this thread. I just got a phone call from LV Galleria Houston and they quoted my price to have the leather replaced at $312.00. All the leather on my Petit Noe except the bottom.

Is the vachetta that bad?

Since it's on the bottom, maybe you could just moisturize the existing leather to help any stains blend in better.

I agree. It is labor intensive.
