This simple, elegant yet functional piece of beauty is named after Queen Astrid of Belgium who traveled with Vuitton luggage. (ha, sounds like me... so does this make me a queen, too? LOL. )

It is so amazingly beautiful IRL, here are the pix. I got mine at Holt Renfrew in Toronto couple days ago. Love it to pieces.

It is beautiful, isn't it? I do, too, also own Insolite wallet. They are very different. I can't put my cell phone in the Insolite, but with Astrid, I can. That is a major plus b/c I can really use it as a clutch.

WHao so pretty!! May I ask if you take a comparison picture of the insolite and the astrid? I am thinking of getting a big wallet for all my crap.... currently thinking of getting the insolite.
Do you like the astrid more than the insolite?
THANKS!!

Personally I do like Astrid better simply because of the additional cell phone pocket on the front and looks dressier. With Insolite, I can't just carry it as a true clutch, even with a strap, I still need to put my cell phone somewhere with me.

For capacity, they are both . But I know I definitely can fit 2 passports into Insolite without problem. (See Feeling a little INSOLITE .....) At first I tried to use Insolite as my everyday wallet, but I couldn't handle the large size, now I found Astrid, problem solved.

Insolite is bigger than Astrid. Wider and taller, but Astrid is thicker if you count the front pocket. For me with such chubby hands Astrid is great for my small opening Epi Speedy 25.

Astrid: 7.6" x 3.8" x 1.6"
Insolite: 8.3" x 4.3"x1.1"

HTH. (sorry, no pix, Insolite is buried deep into the black hole I called closet. )

Astrid is sooo pretty!! You won't regret it.

It is such a functional wallet. I have been using it since I got it last November, and it is still holding up pretty well.

Someone post an EPI Astrid, please?
