Yep, the fakes really make me crazy. And, there are so many lately. I have been going through all the newly listed Louboutins each night and reporting all the fakes. At least 5-10% of each day's new listings are fakes.

Hi ladies...random question here... So in May, the post office lost a pair of shoes that i sold. I had insurance so i was able to refund the buyer and got my $ back from USPS. From what i hear, this style was made in extremely limited quantities. I almost passed out when i saw the SAME size, color and similarly bent straps on ebay... not like there is anything i can do but what do you think??

The picture on the left is Mine from May, and the one on the right is from the listing. I also spotted 3 or 4 other marks or identifiers that are the same lol.

The seller is not the original buyer, and the current seller is not even in the same region as the buyer- i wonder it they are the same shoe as i suspect and if so i wonder how a package that got lost in May that was enroute from NYC to Texas, wound up in Washington 6 months later

The turquoise was only made for 1 store and i believe in only 1 size run. This is not the teal that was at Barneys. It has the same bend in the strap, same exact mark/indent on 3 places and is the same size lol. I am more curious than anything- i got my money back from USPS - the last info USPS had was that they tried to delivery in Texas (Back in May of this year, but when the buyer when to pick it up, they couldnt find it!) I told the original buyer about this listing and she is SO Happy bc she wanted the shoes more than anything...i hope she can actually get them this time lol

Wow Nerdy, that is crazy! I think they are the same shoes. I wonder if maybe lost items that have been paid out on claims but turn up later get sold off? Maybe they get offered to employees? Just a thought. You are right that there is nothing you can do, but it would be nice to know what happened. I would really be tempted to contact the seller and nicely ask her the history of them. I doubt she did anything wrong, it would just be interesting to find out how she got them.

I know! I'm just curious lol! I started a thread in the ebay forum and it appars that there is some sort of auction for lost items!! I too doubt the seller had anything to do with the lost shoes. I hope they go to a great home- they r beautiful!!!!

Why oh why do my feet have to be a 39 and not 35? Foxy's listings of all of those deals are killing me! Especially since I just thinned the herd and returned or consigned a bunch of CLs. Argh.
