Great idea Leda!
Something to add - when using Scotchguard on your satin, make sure none of it gets on the soles of the shoe, because it will leave a white residue and remove the shine. A great way to avoid this is to tape some newspaper to the bottom of the shoe while you're spraying - this way there's no accidents and your soles stay beautiful. |

High heel stretchers can be found at cobblers, several online sites eg http://www.topsocks.com/p/101-012.html and also ebay like this store http://stores.ebay.com/ShoeAndFootCare
It costs from $15-$30 |

You can also use the magic erase to remove the black mark (non-returnable mark) on the insoles. It may take a few or several sipes but it gets the job done. |
