I got the wallets and the double zippy in Turqouise and the shoulder bag in emerald and I think the colors suck! The emerald is more like an olive and the turqoise is more green than blue. Not what I expected. I am returning asap. The fabric however is fantastic. I think I would like the amber better. I do have the yellow croc

clutch also and love that.

^^I'm so sorry to hear that! I wonder if you got a turquoise that is a bit off...because mine is pretty blue. I posted pics in this thread: Help!! I'm addicted to LP!!

I just received my turquoise wallet and (to me) it appears more green as well

...I was surprised at the color. I'll see if I can capture the color in a photo and post it...

If you've been reading the threads, you'd have seen that Emerald is described here as Light Olive. In fact, raw emeralds are an olive color, mixed from tan to bright green. The color name is appropriate.
Turquoise is 1/2 blue, 1/2 green, Aqua a lighter version. Teal is darker, & more green. Photos always reflect more blue ~ you will see Navy and Cobalts that photograph as Royal Blue. If you play with your digital camera on blue items, you'll see how it dominates and brightens on your monitor.
LP Turquoise is true pure turquoise.
Perhaps your expectations were a little off. Both colors are deeply 3D, with shimmering tones, much as real croc hide is.

It seems you prefer warm browns/gold/yellows. The blue/greens just aren't you. Which means the new persimmon could rock your world ! LP has something for all of us.

Thanks for chiming in Stormy. I was thinking...well, it wouldn't be turquoise without the green...but that isn't exactly helpful.

stormy,,, thats a color & texture revelation,, very true indeed,,, i think thats why i like the croc bags,,, they have so much texture,,, depth and varied tonal qualities,,, its kinda like looking at a gorgeous textured wall finish,,, than looking at a plain wall,,, very different indeed,,, some prefer it,,, some don't. as far as the colors,,, i think they all rock!!!

I like the textures just not the colors. I think I would have loved the viola and amber but wtf they are going back tomorrow! The turq is way more green than blue

I do love the persimmons! And I also love the New fushcias too! Just not these colors!

i just got the dylan croc shoulder in emerald and my mom calls the color "pew-y green!" i think it's meant w/ all sincerity because she loves the bag, but i got a kick out of it.

I thought about getting the shoulder bag in Emerald but I already have an olive HH Havana and I thought it would be too similar. The variations in the color of the croco is what makes it so beautiful, IMO. I actually think it's prettier than the HH olive (ducking so Stormy can't smack me!).

If only I had unlimited funds, space and time to wear these bags....

No way I'd smack my Sybsis! I had the exact reason for no Emerald Croco shoulder (Olive Havana). And LP IS prettier, plus I like the zip closure and expansion.
(I have the shoulder in leaf, crimson and turqcroc, so that's enough!)

Wow, the emerald and turquoise are my favorite of the croco family! I guess thats why there are so many gorgeous colors to choose from, something for everyone!

I love those herding dogs :) I'm thinking of getting a Sheltie buddy for my Aussie.
