They should be more reasonable for samples however like they used to be. I gave one for a gift and had to cut off the tag inside as it looked so tacky to say not for resale. It was a camel shoulder bag. I hate the style so I gave it away as you cannot return them.

Linda

I think the lola folding clutch in patchwork is really really cute. The other patchwork bags, meh... don't love 'em. Thinking bout that clutch though!!

The sample sale items I've purchased in the past have always been perfect. Right down to tags and dust bags. I have pics on here somewhere.

I ordered the lola folding clutch in patchwork (cognac/brown) and the dylan BCA tote in black. I already have the BCA dylan in fuschia, I love it!! But I'd really regretted not getting the black when I got it so I went ahead and snagged it. I love the size of that bag!

Will post pics when I receive...

Last sample sale, I received a wallet that was defective. I sent them an email and they gave me no response. I detested LP for awhile after that, but after falling for their belts and cuffs I fell prey to their clutches once again.

I changed my opinion about CS, after they helped me w/ a defective cuff I received. I should get my black BCA today. I'll take pics 4 shore.

Just delivered, my LP sample sale BCA Bag. No damage to the outside that I can see, but the lining is completely in tattered (unsewn/torn) inside. It is a little smaller than I imagined. I do think the handle drop is perfect. I am very happy overall (got it for $130).
Second damaged LP item I've received. I guess I'll just fix and never buy sample again!

^^Mine is going back. One of the studs fell off when I took it out of the dustbag and it appears to be broken. That's not one of the faults included in the sample sale info.

I've never had a problem with LP sample merch up until now.

Sorry that happened to you Sybaryte. I guess mine was an easy fix. I took out my trusty sewing machine and fixed the lining in a snap. My OCD wouldn't let it just be.

They are actually accepting your return? My last defect inquiry was never answered.
May ask what you ordered?

I have found that CS is super receptive if you call - I think they get tons of email, but if you call, they seem to answer the phone and are really helpful.

Thanks, but I fixed my recent defect and the other; well it's too late at this point. I'll keep that in mind for next time.

Oye, that must have been truly disappointing. Are they going to fix it, give you a replacement or just refund the cash?

BTW, do you remember what this originally retailed for?

^^For various reasons, hoping for a refund. Sorry, don't know the original price.

Thankfully, I have my black Piper Weekender on hand to love!
