Hi there!
I have a couple Linea Pelle bags I love (Zoe clutch, Samantha double handle) but I am not as knowledgeable about this brand as some others, so I hoping you LP experts can help me! I am craving another LP with the same or similar leather that was used for my Samantha - think chewy smooshy soft goodness! I love my Samantha but I am a shoulder bag girl at heart so I find I only carry her a day or two at a time. Any recs for collections or styles that are shoulder friendly and have the same/similar kind of leather? I like the old Gillian shoulder bag, have an eye on maybe a Dylan or Lola, maybe a Nikki? - never was a fan of the Danille or Syndey collections. Thoughts? Recs? Am I headed in the right direction?

I have a lot of Dylans and love the leather. Alyssas are gorgeous but the leather is a lot more textured and porous. I have never had problems with stains on any but my Alyssas.
I also have a Samantha but I love the Dylans the best the leather is so soft you cannot stop touching it and yet its thick and they are a hardy tough wear with everything bag. |

I have the tobacco and 2 of the blushes and the color is so pale on the blushes that they absorb anything they are near. I did treat them too. My tobacco has a grease spot on it before I treated it that noone seemed to know how to remove. They are more porous than Dylans.

I have the Dylan Double Handle as well as the Dylan Tote (not on site right now) and love them both! Both are very comfortable to shoulder carry, the handles are so squishy soft they just perch right there on your shoulder. The leather is very squishy soft and puddly on both of them, I've never seen the Samantha so I couldn't compare the two though.

Linda, how do you find the Dylan Double handle?? I was considering this one....also the bowler, but the bowler seems huge.....a bit too big.
The double handle dylan seems just the right size though! |

http://www.lpcollection.com/dylan-do...andle-new.html Here is a modeling pic so you can get an idea of the size, I'm 5'10" - pardon the messy room, it belongs to my 16 year old daughter! She has the full length mirror - ![]() Just a warning though, it looks great on but does collapse into a complete puddle when you set it down on a surface - like an amoeba, lol Linda |

Serena will be made in the same styles and leather as Samantha (no shoulder bag likely) but there is no reason that Sammie Double can't be modified with rings above the pockets for a single long strap. |

Thank you so, so much Stormy for this! I really appreciate it.
![]() I like your strap modification idea - I will have to experiment. In the mean time, I will keep an eye out on fleabay and for for these new Serenas you have mentioned, just in case a shoulder style appears. The Dylan double handle in black in OOS online anyway, so I am biding my time for the right LP for me to come along. |
