Default Question abt the Dylan Wallet
Hi guys,
I just want to ask if anyone of you have/had problems with your dylan wallet esp on the zipper. I have some difficulties zipping it. I just got mine today. Ordered it from ebags.com.

Please help me decide either to keep it or return it. I superbly love the wallet because it match on my long studded dylan purse but I don't like dealing with the zipper when I am using it.

Thanks in advance!!!

Wow. I’m so sorry to hear this. I have been considering purchasing this wallet in black for myself and from e-bags. Good price right now. For a guy it’s way more feminine than anything I carry now but I really love it! I have been looking for a larger zip style wallet mostly for traveling or weekend trips and it looks so functional. I’m curious to see if others have any problems. I was going to order it today but I’m gonna wait. Let me know what you decide to do or if it works better for you. Hopefully it just needs to be broken in and it will work fine.

I own a Dylan Croco wallet, not the regular Dylan wallet, but the zipper works fairly well on mine. I believe this issue can arise from the washing process, though, if it causes the leather to shrink or something and hence make the zipper difficult to operate. Just from the look of the Dylan wallet (vs the Croco version), it could be more of a problem with the Dylan since it has more of that vintage-y, washed look.

If the usual recommendations for a sticky zipper (e.g. rubbing wax paper along the zipper teeth, etc) don't work, I'd suggest contacting eBags for an exchange or contacting LP's CS to see if they can replace it for you. The Dylan's a great wallet, super-functional, but the zipper definitely should not be too difficult to operate at all.

I bought a Dylan regular washed leather wallet in cognac and the zipper on the front was extremely sticky, and the zipper going around the wallet worked fine. I returned the cognac one for a black one and it doesn't stick at all, the zipper around the wallet is great, maybe even better then the first. I am not sure why there was such a dramatic difference between these two wallets, just make sure you can do an exchange or return maybe.

I don't have the wallet but on my bag the zippers are weird. They don't stay closed but they are not the easiest to open either.

This is my FAV wallet EVA! I love all the pockets and how much room there is. Fortunately my zips run pretty smoothly. I highly recommend it!

I actually received my first Linea Pelle product yesterday - a Dylan Croco Wallet! It's a beautiful orange and the whole ensemble is to die for! Fortunately, the zipper works fine on mine. There is no stickiness noted and it runs smoothly. :)

Hi. Newbie here. I actually don't own anything LP but was in the market for a new wallet and the dylan looks divine. May I ask where everyone is ordering from? Only place I've seen them is LP website and I just hate paying shipping costs.

Luna Boston has free shipping, and they have a few colours of the Dylan wallet for pre-order, I think. Other places with free shipping to try include My Obsessions Boutique and Aster Alice. (I'm not 100% certain that AA carries the Dylan Wallet, though.) These sites also usually have discount codes available on a fairly regular basis, so it's worth checking out what codes are available first before buying. HTH!

I bought my Dylan at Malleries. :)

There are several on eBay right now but you can try using a discount code on the Linea Pelle website if you are uncomfortable about the shipping.

I'm looking into getting this wallet in the parrot color, but I'm still undecided. The Luna Boston pics are just too light for my taste, but the LP pics look perfect! I hope the zipper doesn't stick if I ever buy it. Looks like a very functional wallet!!!

Opinions. This is my favorite wallet and I have been wanting it in black. I know it's definetly girly for a guy but Im quite comfortable carrying it. My question is there is a white one on Ebay for a great deal. My wife thinks white would definetly be too girly. I really like the white but what do you think.
