*love* the leather. I have sprayed the bejesus out of it now for protection but it's soft and very squishy and beautiful. I remember when some leather guy from the Nordstrom stalked my Diesel bag across the store to smell it...this smells better. I almost went to find him for his seal of approval today

I don't think have owned a bag with leather as nice as this. I don't know what is so different about it, but it's thicker and the feel is exquisite!

GOOD.. as that is what I have found w/ slightly older LP.. the new Dylan LOOKS the same, but I wanted a hands-on confirmation!!
The LP Messenger I have TRULY has the same quality of leather has my 06 Chloe & 05 BAL bags had. And that was some of the best leather I have owned. And so far, the LP leather seems to just get better w/ use. Keep us updated on how the Dylan does. I still want a Dylan Med Tote, but the only color I'd wear is BLACK.. I wish they offered a GREY. I need a new grey bag. I am trying to talk myself into purple..... but I have never had a purple bag, so I am not sure I'd carry it.

Yes, thicker... softer... smooshier..!!

You nailed it! I have had a few Bals but I couldn't handle carrying something on my arm worth over 1k since I am jeans kinda girl! I feel very comfortable w/ LP and I love it because I hardly see gals with it in Sacramento!

LOL.. well, I am a jeans/leggings/boots kinda gal myself. Definitely own NOTHING in the "dress-up" dept. BUT.. I do have a coupla bals, and not at all afraid to wear them w/ jeans. I love the older MOTO line w/ the smaller RH and long tassels. I bought an older LP messenger bag, and I love it. The leather on that bag is just FAB.

Usually I don't carry this many magazines, that's for travelling or appointment days. But in place of mags I sometimes have paper swatches and file folders. Without file folders or magazines or swatches I have just the wallet and coin purse, and dot pouch with eye drops, etc. and my WW book, business card case (green square) and little piddly crap. There's very little in it compared to the size lol!

Beautiful bag, congrats! Im looking for a 'work' bag and need to be able to fit A4 size folders in the bag can a zip dylan tote hold a folder this size??! I hope so its beautiful!

I have never tried...I can get multiple InStyle's but they are not as tall as that folder....If I had one to try out I would.

I'm thinking about getting either the black or the purple. How heavy is the bag empty?

Not terrible but it is heavier than most other bags. It is heavier than my Diesel was, and WAY heavy compared to the F+C in my avatar.

Thanks for the honesty. I checked out the Dylan Medium Tote IRL and it was already pretty hefty to me. I have the same F+C bag in black so that's a good comparison. :) This bag is gorgeous but probably too heavy for me. I tend to lug LOTS of stuff around.

That's horrible! I'm sorry to hear that you had such an experience. No one should have to go through it.

I have really LOVED this bag for over a year and the color you have is gorgeous! Would you mind measuring the handle drop? I know it says 7" but I am hoping it is a little longer. TIA!
