While cruising TJ Maxx this weekend for a new beachy type bag for an upcoming vacation I spotted this new LP. Can you believe it? I don't think I've ever seen an LP at any of my TJM. Priced at $199. I stuck her on the bottom row behind a bunch of other brown/tan/beige bags in case I wanted to go back and snag her.

However, I will not be. If any SoCal ladies are near the La Habra TJM, that's where I spied her.

I never post on the LP forum but just letting everyone know I've seen TONS of LP accessories @ my TJ. Belts, bags, etc.

vhsethan: Where are you located? I wonder if it's a regional thing. I hear women relating where they get bags in the midwest or on the east coast....stores we also have here ...but they never carry those brands out here. This includes my Saks Off Fifth. I've got friends around the country who get Koobas regularly at theirs and we never do at my local SOF.

Every now and then our Marshall's and TJM throw in a ringer, like Isabella Fiore or Francesca Biasia. Once, I saw a Stewart Weitzman or two. We never get the really good stuff, like Linea Pelle. Maybe in the future. We are starting to get a boat load of Makowsky bags.

^^^ Your stores sound like mine. If they were carrying LP regularly I'd be there all the time.

KoobaMe, was it in the special "couture" section? Ours (Denver) carries Missoni, Weitzman, Prada, but only there... sounds like you saw the LP in the "regular" bag section? It's definitely regional w/TJM... they might be testing you out. Buy! Buy! So the rest of us can score!

You have a special "couture" section? We just have a jumble of bags that are organized in rows by color families. That's it. Lot of small D&B bags...B. Makowsky, KVZ....bags I don't buy.

I do go there though to find funky Lucky Brand bags for their vintage looks (I buy these for concerts and fairs since beating them up won't hurt them...or my wallet...plus I love them). I'll be keeping an eye out for improved selection, though and to see if anyone snagged that LP!

lucky bums w/ the couture TJ sections! i see the occasional LP belt, but that's it. if i saw an LP bag, i would 1) die, and 2) buy it. probably need to switch up that order a bit and hold off on 1.

I've never seen anything good at my local TJM, much less a LP. Everytime I go, I am disappointed. I'll keep checking though!

i went to 2 tj maxx today in chicago (fullerton and irving park). they both had linea pelle dylan totes for $229 and the hobo for $179. all were in the same tan and very, very shopworn and scuffed. one of the totes' zippers were coming apart from the bag and seams were fraying.

i didn't see any lp in wallets or clutches and i didn't look to see if there were any belts. my tjs usually have a decent selection of bags -- coach, lp, cole haan, isabella fiore as well as a ton of those b makowsky and "premiere" italian/spanish designers.

i went to the one in la canada (in between pasadena and la cresenta) and they had the dylan tote in perfect condition! ahh i want it so bad but dont have the money ahah
