I'm expecting my Dylan Messenger Double Pocket to arrive today (YAY!), and thinking out loud what I'll wear with it once I get it. Which brings me to ask, what do you gals wear with your LP bags? Casual, dressy, work, school, etc. outfits? Please share!

I have a bunch of LP bags and it depends on which style you have, regarding what it "goes" with. Most of their bags are pretty casual so everything goes with them, except for maybe "evening gowns". LOL!
They have some dressier clutches, and the Gillian is also a bit dressier (but is still kindof casual) so you could dress them up a little more. The Lauren Conrad line is also slightly dressier, but could also be dressed down.

Your messenger bag is going to be more on the casual side, so you could wear it with anything from jeans and tees, to shorts, skirts, etc.

What color messenger did you get?

^^ i agree... they pretty much go with everything except an evening gown or maybe a super dressy suit... i like mine best with sundresses...

Wow, had to think about this for a moment, and just realized why LP works so well in my life. Everything I wear is hemp, linen or silk. Andrew Cotton tends to create organic bags; that is, the leather is not forced to be something it doesn't want to be. The designs seem to flow from the nature of the leather. This earthy quality suits my fabrics and my style.

cooper1, I ordered Midnight! And guess what came? A Dylan Shoulder bag instead!!! Which is quite lovely, but I'm sending it back to get my messenger. I'm dying for the messenger, even though the bag they sent me costs much more than the one I paid for! haha.

Thanks for sharing, everyone, keep 'em coming! I figured I would use the dylan messenger for running errands and shopping, to keep my hands free. :)

Sooo glad we got an LP sub-forum - I would never have found this topic otherwise and I want to bring it back to life!

I *love* wearing my Marigold Dylan Speedy Mini with loose sundresses and flats - sooo cute, I think I was wearing a sundress when I bought the bag so that makes sense.

Anyway, these bags are awesome with summery, flowing, flowery pieces and I love them for that reason! So relaxed, so soft and squishy, exactly what I want my summer to be like.

The next challenge: Finding one that suits my fall wardrobe (should be easy tho, I live in Central Florida so nothing too heavy). I need one in a darker color, probably black.... the Dylan Croco Double Zippy is lookin' RIGHT!

I TOTALLy agree with Sep's pics and suggestions. I find LP to be casual and relaxed. A bohemian kind of feeling.

YES! It finally arrived and I love it! The leather is so soft and supple, and the bag is gorgeous. I am in the process of moving, so have to wait until I unpack to take pics and post. Thanks for asking!
