Default Dylan Zip Tote Strap Length Question
I am really interested in pre-ordering the dylan zip tote in black, but I have never seen it in person. I am concerned that it says the strap is 7".

That seems really short to me. For those of you who have it, is the strap to wear it on your shoulder really short? I don't want the top of the bag to basically be in my armpit! OR do you usually end up wearing it on your forearm?

Thanks for all those who reply!

I have the new one with the four zippers and it's very easy to wear over the shoulder, even with a coat (it may be difficult with a big puffy down jacket or honkin big and oversized coat, but I wore mine all winter with a wool coat and various jackets.)

thanks for answering. The newer 4 zip one says it has a 9.5" drop in the strap. So that seems fine and roomy. But the older style with 3 zippers to pre-order only says 7! That's a big difference. That's why im concerned...

I just measured my zip tote in leaf. It is about a 7" drop. It falls about 2 or 3 inches below my armpit and I find it very comfortable. It might be tight with a puffy coat but otherwise is very comfortable.

I agree with everything bilka39 said! I find my very comfortable to wear over my shoulder, but i can see it probably wouldnt be as easy if you had lots and lots of layers on

Hi! Sorry to bring this back, but I see some people referring to the new bags as having "4 zippers." You mean altogether or just on the top? Sorry if this is a stupid question. Thanks!

I'm answering my own question from above, for others who might have wondered, bc the other day I got my Dylan Zip Tote in the mail. The website says 7' drop, but its def longer than that and sits wayyyy below my armpit. It is very comfotable and stays on my shoulder soooo well. It is sucha gorgeous bag, I am truly in love with it!

^^^ Thanks for the thread and the answers! I'm looking at the "older" (bigger) tote as well, but was worried about the 7" drop. Now I can just stalk a Smoke one on ebay! What color did you get?
