Ok how do you know that you are buying the "art" magic eraser? I checked office depot.com and their magic eraser looks like the one you buy at walmart for house cleaning. It says it is for floors, wall, applicances etc.. to remove dirt and grime. this doesnt sound right. I really wanted to get one of these erasers to try on one of my bags.

It will be sold in the area with art supplies, not cleaning. And it's small like a regular eraser.

I just bought my first Linea Pelle. There is no Wilson's TLC Leather & Suede Protector Spray to be found any where. What should I do?

So I have looked through all the posts for cleaning LP's and haven't seen an answer to my question. I bought a Piper tote in Taupe off ebay a month or so ago and there are two stains on the bag that I want to clean. What is the best product/method for cleaning the Piper bags?

Thanks!!!

Check Post #70 (& previous). All LP share common care techniques, Pipers are not exceptions.
If the stains are unusual, it would be best if you'd name the origin/type of the stain.

These are good for finished and full grain leathers only. A regular pencil eraser (or tan art gum eraser) works fine on LP and all other washed and naked leathers. The plastic will 'slick' LPs and leave shiny marks on the matte leather that cannot be removed. The best thing of all is LP's recommended "pinch-scrape-rub" to remove spots. See post #2.

Just ordered the Wilson's TLC Leather and Suede Protector on the Wilson's website. It is on backorder (supposedly set to leave the warehouse in 2-3 weeks), but I don't mind waiting, as I've waiting to receive my shipment of my first LP bags. The price is reduced to $5 per bottle, and there is free shipping with no minimum purchase requirement.

Hi all. I just purchased my first LP, the Dylan Patchwork Tote in white (yikes) this morning and it will be due to arrive in the next week. This of course is a bag that needs to be pretreated. What items should I use for this gorgeous new bag? TIA!

ok ... i have looked through this and am feeling totally overwhelmed! i've never treated leather or had a leather bag before ... i bought the danielle satchel in brown .... what kind of leather is this? all the types aforementioned are confusing me ... and i'm intimidated at owning a leather bag now! someone mentioned that darker leather can be left untreated ... is there a benefit to leaving it untreated/treated if it's dark? ack, i'm lost ...

and i know that not all sprays have been tried out ... anybody use apple something or other?

tia!
