Ha! Bought it, and for $50 less than the BIN, which was a shock to me. BUT.. I am EXCITED. I have NO white bags, I loved Stormy Heart's messenger when I saw her pix, AND I have never owned a bag that was "washed leather". I've read thru the care/maint thread, and LP seems to be a fairly low maint and easy to care for leather. I will be most excited to see this bag!

WOW there are a ton up there. They look OK to me. Yes, China is correct.
There are some retailers buying LP wholesale who list on Bay and LP cannot control where they offer them for sale. Some are B&M shops, but I'd only trust Kataphelio. The reason is, Others are in direct competition with LP, overly mark up costs, and do not offer the outstanding service and guarantees LP offer.

That red plaid satchel might be one of the original LPs. Mira started designing over 25 years ago. *I'll take a wild guess that her NY Boutique was named Linea Pelle (?, would like confirmation) and this would have been a shop item.

The font is correct, and I have only rarely seen that label.
The vintage LPs I know better have:

She did use some non-leathers. (I have an all-nylon cross-body). She also did a lot with beads, and created some really fun pieces that I am aware of.

I'd love to track some of the Private Label stuff.

Yes, it's good ! the Seller has a price match policy so you may be able to negotiate a better price.

One of the bags pictured was a sample, most likely. They don't always match up with production pieces exactly. When Dani totes were available, I don't remember any stud count change, but maybe we can find pictures of more Black ones.
