Sorry to bug again. I did find lots of posts, mostly about when they were on sale. I am still wondering what type of leather this is (calf, lamb, other?) and was this from Fall 08? (I guessed because they were on sale Winter 09.)

Linea Pelle uses washed Italian lamb skin- and yes dylan croco is from Fall 08

It's an older LP in a shrunken (not enzyme washed lamb), so has a woodgrain-like texture. It is very lightweight and I'd keep it out of the sun because this one could fade and discolor a bit.

I don't know how to answer this. The bag looks fine but I've no idea why the tag would be there (maybe re-attached?).

the bag looks good Ellie Mae. I really don't think LP is being faked as of now- probably not cost effective at this point.
