Default LAMBie Chat!!
I just read in the RM subforum that Megs and Vlad are now allowing one off-topic thread per subforum. So here is ours ladies...we can talk about whatever we want and don't have to worry about it getting moved!!!

So to start...in LAMBie news I am super excited about my Tie Dye Mandy getting delivered today.

In non-LAMBie news....I am going to Olive Garden for lunch (or as I like to call it "Olive Geezy"). I haven't been there since June and it is one of my favorite restaurants!! I am so excited all I ate today was some yogurt so I would be nice and hungry....now I am starving!!!

I am also thinking about getting some bangs....lately my forehead has just been looking so big and I wear ponytails religiously. They are such a commitment though....at least 4 or 5 months to be able to blend back in... What do you guys think?

Knaz

Awesome!!! A place for random non-lambness! LOL

I think bangs would look really cute on you Knaz! If you don't want to go 'all out' and do straight across the forehead bangs, try a side swept bang. I have to have side swept bangs because I've got a five-head. ha ha ha

And COME ON Tie Dye goodness!!!!!

oh YAY!!!! I'm excited about this thread....kinda like our old one-thread chat days!!

I've officially started my vacation!! Well, technically it started yesterday, but I was still at work for the holiday lunch/baby shower for one of our staff members.

It was so nice to come home last night and not have to worry about grading a ton of papers, answering emails, blah blah blah. I played about three levels of Tomb Raiders! I'm hoping for the new version for christmas.

Just throwing this out there --- for any newbies/lurkers/people afraid to post....JUMP ON IN!!! I promise we're fun and welcoming!

That's a good idea MissN. I tried side-swept bangs back in April....but I tried them myself, lmao!!! Didn't work out to well. I will go with a professional this time if I go through with it.

Yvonne, I'm sure vacation feels so good!!! I don't get one until the 26th. Better than nothing though.

Olive Garden was soooo good. I had the new Chicken Carbonara....wonderful! I just checked my UPS status and it is still out for delivery. They usually come between 2 and 3:00. Oooh I hope I get off work in time I can't stand the wait!

If we can talk about anythng in here...has anyone read the Twilight series? My friend got me into it, and now I am obsessed. I just started the 4th book last night.

I am so glad we have a chat thread now.

So last night, my Tie Dye Mandy got dissed. I went into this boutique and one of the guys who works there says to me "Is that a LAMB bag?" So I was all excited that someone recognized it and happily answered "yes!"

He looks down at it again and like makes this "sniff" noise and rolled his eyes! What a f---ing a--hole!

Probably jealous.

Ha ha here's another LAMB tidbit: a saleslady at the Off 5th at Great Lakes Crossings in Mich. told me that LAMB bags were made by Gucci. I thought that was pretty funny.

Don't feel too bad -- I did this too! They kept coming out crooked, so I kept cutting and cutting. PMS and Scissors are a bad combination! by the time I was done I swear I looked like Betty Paige!

Allicatexp: I haven't been able to read anything lately! Tell me what the books are like - someone described them as a newer/younger version of the Anne Rice Vampire series (and without all the sex). Is this true?

He prob was jealous but I have come across a lot of people who don't like L.A.M.B it may be that they just don't get it...the bags are modern...even on the purse forum when they have "what bags don't you like" topic threads L.A.M.B is often mentioned...Oh well...to each his own.

I am crazy about True Blood on HBO. I mentioned how much I liked it and a few gals on the RM subforum suggested I might like Twilight as well. So I am hoping to buy the first book to take home with me for Christmas vacation to read. Everyone says they are sooo good!!

I can't believe that guy insulted your Tie Dye!!! Let me send you a cyber smackdown to pass along to him!!

I saved half my Chicken Carbonara for dinner. BF is gonna be so jealous...that's what he gets for keeping me up with all his snoring the past three nights!

Yvonne, I've done that with the bangs before too....that was a looong time ago though thank goodness. I'm just ready for a change and I'm not dyeing my hair anymore so I guess bangs are the next best option?

I SURE AM!! I'm only on the 2nd one. Amazing!!!!

Now for my random blah blah- if you all haven't noticed yet, under my avatar I have a new comment and also in my sig......

I'm LAID OFF indefinitely!!I will still get my bonus in Feb., but I HOPE I will still be financially able to get my Remix! I've been so sad today. Actually the last several days have been a whole mix of emotions for me from being pissed off to happy because that all means no more 2nd shift for me and I can just concentrate on school. But this whole thing of being even more broke than before and also at Christmas has really got me .

Yes it's true, lots of folks don't care for LAMB, but usually I get so many compliments it just threw me for a loop that this guy was so outwardly rude. I was in the middle of paying for a grafitti art calendar so we were all standing at the counter and when he said that my salesperson and I just looked at each other like "whoa!"

Legsie I am so sorry that you were laid off.

^^Yeah it is and when I hear of all the others it's happening to makes me even sadder. Then I hear about people christmas shopping and I get sad b/c I can't. Then I get sad yet again (but happy for the person) when a Lambie gets a new LAMB. Yup, I've been to the point of almost from nerves and stress. I think my hubby left the house for a while to get away from my mopiness.
