Gosh i'm sorry to all of you who are going through this.

I send lot's of prayers and good karma out to you!

Me and bf were talking the other day about his job. We are really fortunate that he has one that is very very stable. He's an enviromental air tech and the company is really strong. They aren't going anywhere.

I haven't worked for like 2 years??? I've devoted all my time to helping bf raise his daughter (really I started doing it since the day we met, she was such a tomboy cuz of him haha). I am thinking about working again though, on the side. Now that she's pretty adjusted.

My grandpa alway's wanted me to have my own business.. maybe I will one day.

Cgirl, I'm so so sorry to hear about your accident!! Are you ok? I hope you are. <3

BF used to ride a harley and I would get so scared after hearing about accidents on the news. I was confident in his riding skills but, when I would hear about something it would really make me think of what could happen.

I saw a guy laying on the floor once after an accident. His bike laid next to him. I was at the light and he was straight in front of me. I found out later he had passed instantly. I couldn't believe it.

I think it's nice if Christmas for our family goes back to being a lot smaller as well. For the past number of years we've been getting more and more elaborate with our gifts - which means they've got really expensive. I even stopped budgeting for gifts. However, our family never do birthday gifts or anything else during the rest of the year -so Christmas is the time that we just kind of let go of our money for presents...

veyda: I'm so surprised that someone irl turned his nose up at your LAMB bag. Everyone I know irl loves the designs and styles of LAMB bags...what a strange and odd fellow.

legsie: big hugs to you!!!! I totally understand about not having work...my current contract is up next week and the only thing that's been offered is a two additional weeks extension somewhere else. Of course I argued that I needed something more and didn't accept the position, so I'm crossing my fingers for a much better offer by next week...but who knows? I might have pissed off the administration for being demanding. Don't worry - you'll get the bags you want later - they'll be around and probably at a cheaper price point!!!! Good-luck in your schooling!!!

Ceruelean: Your Shamrock Pulse is HOT bag!!! The green is such a sweet colour!

lambiepie: Mmmmm....sushi....I love seafood....though I just had a gluten free pizza with tomatoes, mushrooms and New York pepperoni tonight which I will say it was rather delicious.

Sushi was awesome ghst! I had crunch rolls. Bf unfortunately can't have any though cuz he "may" or may "not" be allergic to shellfish. He had a teriyaki bowl. You pizza sounded delish also! haha

legsie I'm so sorry to hear about your job, I've been with the same company for almost 10 years and might not have a job by February. My situation isn't even due to the economy, my boss made a huge mistake on something and I caught the mistake and corrected it and went to her and her boss to let them know what had happened and next thing I know it's being blamed on me and I've been placed on a 60 performance plan, which really just means that they are going to fire me in 60 days. I hate going in to work right now, anything I do or say somehow gets turned against me.

Lambie - I only wish I could get Dh to go out for sushi. I normally only get this treat when I've been really bitchy and it's his fault, or he's going to be gone with the dudes for the weekend. It's "keep the woman happy sushi".

We might go to disney tomorrow too!! I'll keep an eye out if we make it! It's not like we're hard to spot- he's the 6' tall dude wearing a black/white tall hat, and I'm a foot shorter in minnie ears!! We're quite a pair!

It's walking distance dear! I love that place!!! I usually get take-out from there. There's a new place that opened further down on Florence and Rives that I'm trying to get to also - it's more of a sit-down restaurant (and I have NO idea what the name is).

Kyoto on the other corner is good too (near the dry cleaners), and so is Tokyo Garden - that's up on Paramount.

Now I'm hungry.

I remember how close it was for me before! So sad.

We got take out from there. Another place that is good is Hikari in the montebello town center. Soooo good! Better than maki yaki! We were at blockbuster though, so that's why I settled. haha

I'm going to have to try this new place you speak of... I've also heard of tokyo garden, but never been.

Keep him and your dog will have a friend! I am crazy though, I have four dogs, which is still strange to day. I used to have five but my beloved black lab Buddy passed away recently.

The funniest part about this is that it happened on my road bicycle! I just took up cycling (long distance) and ate pavement for the first time last night. I was so embarassed! Turnes out my ribs are only very bruised (still hurts pretty badly) and my thumb is sprained.

Almost three years riding motorcycles (dirt and street) and never a wreck. I get on a bicycle and can't stay upright!

lmkhlh2006 - Do you have proof that the error was not your fault? I would *seriously* get an attorney. It sounds as though they are trying to terminate you with cause so that you can't claim unemployment benefits. I would fight them tooth and nail! An attorney will put their attitude towards you in neutral. It is worth looking into at least!

legsie - Hvae you thought about having a yard sale? I had one and could not believe how fast people bought up total crap! I raked in nearly $500 for old clothing, old jewelery and random junk.
