I'm so glad for this thread! Ok where do I start....

Knaz, you should try bangs. Just make sure the stylist keeps them long enough so you can pull them back still if you don't want them. Go for a long side swept bang. I do this to myself when I get bored with my hair, but it's alway's a matter of day's till i'm pulling them back and wishing they would hurry and grow! I'm just finicky like that!lol.

I bought the twilight book 2 weeks ago because my cousin said it was reaaaally good. I finished that b*tch in 2 days! lol. I could not put it down! I took it everywhere with me. I can't wait to buy the set now. They had it at barnes and noble, but they're sold out. Bummer!

Veyda, include me in the cyber bitch slapping of that A-hole!! He was definitely jealous!

I have been to olive garden only one time... all I remember is what I drank. Kinda. lol.

Me and BF are going for sushi today. I can't wait. It's been so long. I don't eat the super raw stuff, I do eat the salmon and tuna rolls though. Then we have some xmas shopping to do. Tomorrow, we off to disneyland!! yay!

Ty so much lambiepie- it is much appreciated I need it. I feel soooooo idk what the word is.......... screwed I guess. I've been so sick lately from all of this. It's just so depressing! We always get a real tree every year around this time and haven't gotten one b/c we live week to week anyways and the housepayment had to be made so there went any $$ for a tree even.

Hey legsie - I am sorry about your job but at least unemployment will help you keep afloat for a bit. The bags will always be around so you can get them once you have a job. As for Christmas, maybe find some creative ways to make it your own this year? I am also not working and it is pretty hard to not have the disposeable income. I just sell stuff in order to buy myself something.

veyda - OMG what a bizzatch to have turned his nose up at your bag. Jealous, I say! Probably because he could never rock it so well.

Can I just say that I am loving my Shamrock Pulse? I took her out today and it has to be the most perfect bag for me right now! I am in loooove!

I am craving a cocktail. Raspberry Lemon Drop sounds soooo good!

^ Hubby always says "It's after 12 somewhere"....he starts earlier than I do!

Legsie - I'm so sorry hun! Hang in there, I know it's really tough for a LOT of people right now. While I am fortunate that I have my position, hours have been cut, classes canceled. That's the reason I'm home for about 6 weeks (my winter teaching assignment was cut).

Christmas is smaller for us as well. Just can't justify the massive spending when there are many other priorities.

You know, we had a really rough time a few years ago, and all we could afford was a small charlie-brown tree (which I think was $10), very small presents, and we made coupons for "I will cook you anything you want for dinner" and "valid for one load of laundry" (this one was a pack of 10!). I swear I want those again!! Get creative - I'm sure it'll all work out!

I'm just soooooo lost now! I wanted out of there but on my own terms when I was ready! Afterall- if you all knew the whole history that I had with that place and how they have burned me (so to speak) they even ended up burning me in the end!

I can't believe that guy insulted your Tie Dye!!! Let me send you a cyber smackdown to pass along to him!!

I saved half my Chicken Carbonara for dinner. BF is gonna be so jealous...that's what he gets for keeping me up with all his snoring the past three nights!

Yvonne, I've done that with the bangs before too....that was a looong time ago though thank goodness. I'm just ready for a change and I'm not dyeing my hair anymore so I guess bangs are the next best option?
My husband and I love True Blood too. I think I am going to get the first Twilight book as well.

I am sorry to hear about the job. I feel your pain. My husband is a manager at a car dealership and we all know how that is going (at least it is Toyota and not one of the domestic dealerships or we would be in deep doodoo) so money is really tight for us as well. One of his friends got laid off a week ago. You would think they would have at least waited a couple of weeks until Christmas. Boo to them.

LOL noon is hardcore! But I am down with that! And since I just crashed BIG TIME on my road bike (sprained thumb and definitely bruised ribs if not cracked and wondering if I have a concussion ) I could really use that drink. But I don't think the hospital will like that. I'm waiting before I head over there to see if I feel better first. I have crappy insurance and it will cost me a grip to go.

legsie - Christmas is going to be very small for me too so don't feel bad. It's the way things are for so many right now. I've told family NO PRESENTS for adults (kids only) and am happy just to have a dinner with loved ones rather than buy into the consumerism and commercialism that we are brainwashed to believe.

Legsie my heart goes out to you and I am praying for you. I know exactly what you are going through. You know BF hasn't worked since May....we are unsure if he will have a job to go back to much longer. So far two people at my job have been given their two weeks notice due to downsizing....and it isn't over. All we can do is pray.
