Happy Sunday!

I woke up this morning and realized I only have one more week of vacation - then I'm back to work. I really shouldn't complain, I've been off forever!

CG - bummer that the doggie isn't working out to well. Good that you have alternatives that allow you to still be in it's life.

Glamb - grabbed the hottie's butt!! Love it!!

i think the new line is actually a good 'LAMB for Target' set of bags. with the PVC and lack of design and all.

^Those bags do lack the edge of the original styles. I hate associating LAMB with only the LAMB bags from when I first saw them in 2007. They were such heavy, durable quality bags - now I just don't like the new styles at all. I'm still missing a rasta which I need - a rasta mandeville would be nice to have in my purse collection.

Yes, if they were going to bring L.A.M.B. to Target, maybe that would be a good starter, but really the barcode bags are b-o-r-i-n-g.
I only have a few bags on my wishlist right now and most of them are older bags. I'd love to have an Oxford, a Rasta something ??, and a Wembley. And no... no hints were given at all to what I am getting.

Hey everyone.....

I was just browsing Ebay, and I that one Shadow Westfield is still on there.....its all the way down to $139!! I still have mine b/c it would not sell...I LOVED that bag and I paid full retail for it as it was in the beginning and I did not know any better. I do not regret buying it b/c I did use it as an every day bag for a long time its just that I do not use it at all and it is just stored away in the dust bag. I refuse to sell it for pennies though....and l.a.m.b does not keep its value when you try to sell which is unfortunate for us...do you get what I am saying? Maybe one day I will start using her again.

I really slowed down with l.a.m.b my last one was the Mandalay Springvale and I love it I am just not interested in any thing l.a.m.b right now. I am really trying hard to use just what I have....I was totally impressed with my RM Studded Devote and just fell in love. However, with that said, I have not purchased any other RM bags. I have so many great pieces that get no use. I really have to share the love. Its just hard when I am having a love affair with one bag to fit the others in. And in my case I tire easy and I have a hard time with choices. LOL

Anyway what I have left of l.a.m.b:

Cheetah Oxford
Shadow Westfield
Camel Checkerboard Rowington
Mandalay Springvale
Trenchtown Maria
Chain Plaid Carlisle (never even used)

Shadow Large Makeup Case
Shadow Clutch Wallet
Shadow Coin Pouch
Lipstick Zip Pouch
Ombre Checkerboard French Clutch Wallet

It seems like a lot but I got rid of sooooo many. For a while there it was pretty intense. I am not going to try and sell any more of my bags. It just does not work out in my favor. Plus I invested so much $ in them. A lot were impulse buys from the beginning of me discovering l.a.m.b. I am just NOT going to buy any thing new bag wise unless it is an investment piece. I just can't it becomes too much for me. I get so I have to have a certain bag and its ALL I think about to the point of obsession then when I get it its on to the next bag. And the cycle never stops. Its crazy I have to train myself to not do that anymore or just limit the purchases to special occasions like my B-Day or X-Mas. Which is not easy b/c I LOVE bags....I also will only pay cash now. Before I would use my Nordies card or something....not anymore. I paid those suckers off and I am DONE...LOL cash only.

Well thanks for letting me ramble....XoXo

^^No problem Bentley- I feel for you!
I've made some "bag" sacrafices lately just so I could fund a L.A.M.B.!! I don't regret any sacrafices yet and I don't think I will. Anyways, with more bags out, it makes it easier to share the love with what I do still have.
I will have to do a "family shot" update once I'm all done.

I have to use my cc to buy my bags because well, I'm from Canada so I can't really carry that much cash over there. However, I always pay it off and never carry a debt on anything I buy. I'm so paranoid about it. I don't buy as many bags as some tpf members. I mean it's usually several a year - so far year I purchased just three - a $170 Coach, Nordie's Anniversary sale Burberry $349 and Gucci sukey boston $1000 - this bag basically limited me to not buy any more until late Fall. My obsession is with clothes! I find it tough to stop spending money on clothes! I can easily spend $500 on a skirt than on a bag. I can't train myself to wait until Christmas or B-day...too long of a wait.

^^everyone is different. I was just stating my personal feelings. No one has to agree or disagree with me. That was not what I was asking for. The main thing I was saying was that l.a.m.b does not carry its value.

As for clothes and shoes....I have soooo many. I hardly ever buy clothes retail....I love cardis and a lot of neutral colors. My clothes and shoes do not cost nearly as much as my bags. So I do not mind buying them. I just need to use the fabulous bags I already have.

Well it's tough to sell something for a fraction of the price you pay for it. I have a bunch of books I need to ebay but I know won't get even 15% back for what I paid for them and they're in mint condition! :( One of the reasons why I've been holding off on ebaying them).

That's okay to slow down on your LAMB purchases - I haven't bought a new LAMB item since last year's Nordie's anniversary sale so it's been a year already! I still like looking at what LAMB purchases others have been makng though. ^__^

edit: Yes you do have some fabulous handbags!!!

I've never sold a L.A.M.B. bag but I can say I've scored some pretty sweet deals on L.A.M.B. bags. I have one bag I got for like 70% off retail

^^I wish I was that smart in the beginning! I would of saved soooo much $. I think a lot of it has to do with the economy of course. Its just a bad time for Ebayin some things.

I would love to have a Rasta piece....a rowington or montego. Those rasta pieces do hold their value!! I had a st. thomas but....
