I was wondering about the MAC sets, too. I like cool color palates. I may have to check them out tomorrow!

I was also going to recommend Pollo Loco. They do complete party trays with chicken, sides, tortillas, salsa and they even give you plates/silverware!! I order half of what they recommend and its plenty! |

When someone has a different opinion of something its not an attack - you just interpret it that way. Sometimes its just tough love. |

I would love to *paint* your face anytime cerulean! You get over here! lol.
Yvonne, i was thinking of el pollo loco. Their bbq chicken is so good. I am going to go to costco on thursday (i happen to looooove their shrimp trays!) to get some stuff. I might just get some deli meats from them. Or veggies, depending on what i decide on. Thanks for reminding me about that to! Haha. my mind is so scattered! How much do you think i should order for maybe 50 people... give or take..? |

Even before I came here to the LAMB subforum, I saw your eye makeup photos, lambiepie, and was impressed... actually jealous too (lol) because I always felt handicapped when doing eye makeup. It wasn't until I discovered UDPP and blending that I started enjoying and experimenting with eye makeup in the truest sense.
I saw those MAC kits in the anniv. catalog and felt so torn on which one would be best for me... the first thought I had was, I wonder which one lambiepie would recommend? hehe. I always keep my makeup natural/neutral, but I love smoky/sultry eye makeup and natural bronzing. So all 3 look tempting... but I don't wanna buy all 3! And these kits excite me because (brace yourselves) I've never tried MAC in my life. *gasp* |

I agree with Costco as a good place for snacks like veggie and fruit platters. They also have great cheese and meat platters. And cakes and pies. I love El Pollo Loco. Yummy chicken! |

Lol!! That is so funny! You guys are to awesome! The majority of what i own is MAC. I do dabble in other brands to though. I am not prejudice against any brand, i will try them all. That's how we know what works the best for us. And like cerulean, MAC never lets me down! I can always count on it. |

Dland?? I'm going too!!!
![]() Lambiepie - If you're having 50 people, and ordering chicken plus having other stuff, I'd order for 1/2 that amount - only 25. I think they allow for 2 pcs per person, so with 1/2 you have one per which is enough if you have other trays. Plus, they give you those paper plates that aren't that big so you can't fit everything on them. ![]() *uh, and I'm with Csalt - I've only tried MAC lipsticks. ![]()

LOL. It is true! I've never owned, tested, or walked into a MAC store or up to a MAC counter in dept stores for a couple reasons. Mostly because I'm too chicken? lol. But with such a HUGE religious following, I feel I am missing out on something great. I have very sensitive skin and spent all my life (and $$$) finding products that work well on my skin. I do like the feel of mineral makeup or something very light and airy yet offering coverage -- natural ingredients are a huge plus for me. BE broke me out badly (at least on my face, less on the lids) when I first gave it a go so I've been using EM. It surprisingly works wonders and makes me feel prettier while looking natural than any other makeup brand I've ever tried. Since I keep all of my face natural, I tend to go a little darker for my eyes (so yes on smoky) to make them stand out most. I have quite of bit of Stila products since their colors tend to be more natural/light, which I like so I don't end up looking like a clown (plus it doesn't break me out). Thanks in advance for any recommendations on which MAC products might fit me, lambiepie! I'm excited about trying MAC once and for all! |
