4th was nice. the weather was nice, my husband was working, i took my kids to dinner at friendlys and then we played outside. my son couldn't stay up for fireworks, but my daughter and i were able to see some from our front yard.

i'm hoping my nordstroms anniversary catalog comes tomorrow. i rescheduled my appt for pre-sale to tues morning.

then wed is my birthday. going to hopefully go over to the pool if it's nice out.

Oh man, 4th of July was nice. Just kicked it with the family in Santa Cruz. We had fireworks for my nephews and I got a new digital camera and got to test it out on them. Good times!

I have a hectic week ahead: mid-term tomorrow, hematologist appointment (prolly more blood draws - pfft!), a trip to Nords to make a return, and lots of workouts in there, too.

I've spent my day studying and doing schoolwork and I am kinda burned out on it. Poor hubby has been bored all day because I am not able to entertain him! LOL

I've also gotta work on getting my ND concert outfit sorted out. 20 more days until my show!!

Hey friends..I've been gone for a few days so this may be a long ppost.

I hope everyone had a good 4th! I was supposed to go to fresno with my sister and my make out buddy but I got sick the day we were leaving. Turns out my kidneys weren't working to good from my diabetes. I was also sick like with upper respiratory stuff( that I got from my nephew) and I ended up back in the hospital yesterday am with pneumonia...the dr said because of the diabetes I'm getting sick easier. Ummm FML!

so I was delirious with a 105 fever friday night and half sleeping half awake...it was odd, I was either having dreams or delusions...it started off I took off in a jeep to the city because I was pissed at hubby...I get there and I drive around and its pride week there was crazy fun weirdness all around.. Half naked people, huge groups of people doing the craziest thing...anyhow I see my mom and we hang out then I take off and I'm at this dive hotel on the beach and I find an unlocked room and I have to go so bad that I just walk in and use the bathroom...wwell then I get nervouse and leave but as I'm leaving I run into a old friend and turns out it was their room...I go in and were hanging out then walks in this girl with a cheetah lambie and we spot them at the same time and then we talk lamb for awhile...so she starts to show me her collection and then I'm like oh my god are you GREASER MOMMA from TPF and she is looking at me odd and I was like oh my god, I'm GLAMBLOVER lol so she's like let's go....somhow we walk outside and were in downtown SF and we go to this bar/ restaraunt and lots of girls have lamb and she introduces me to everyone...it was like a lamb gang I tell you....so my friend greaser momma tells me she has a suprise and we leave through the back door...well there is like a discount store and they have huge amoiunts of lamb...I was running and grabbing and autheticizing....then I woke up.

So the crazy thing about that dream is that I don't have a jeep, greaser momma is actually kshtrdgrl, oh and I have a high fever and instead of normal delusions its about lamb LOL!!!

Moving on the wallet npb finally paid friday...umm yeahh...

Oh and do you guys know of any sites or any place I can trade bags at? I want to trade a few new bags for like a rasta kingston or alston???

I am sorry to hear you got so sick! Last year my mom got REALLY sick with a bad fever for several days. When she finally decided to go get checked out, she had to be admitted to the hospital because her kidneys were failing and it was at that time she found out she is diabetic (type 2). It's scary stuff! I hope you are doing better and that no long-term damage was done! Your story made me giggle - you went into a magical lambie world!

i know what you mean. i had a super high fever in 10th or 11th grade, i had gotten tonsilitis on xmas and no one noticed how sick i was. i went to bed when we got home from dinner and i think i was slightly delirious. i could hear the tv downstairs and i think i was half dreaming about whatever was on. my mom didnt notice till the next day and then took me to the hospital. i think i had 104 point something at the hospital. we had to wait like three hours and i thought my legs were going to fall off, i had those high fever muscle aches so bad!

lol i think youve become addicted to the message board when you hallucinate about it.

Sad news is that No Doubt is tonight and I'm not going. I'm so kicking myself in the butt for not going now but I hate, and I mean HATE the venue they're playing at. Why pay crazy money for a seat and not be able to see the band? Plus all my friends are too cool to go see ND. I thought about making DH take me but he's still hasn't recovered from Dave Matthews when I got in a fight with a drunk guy. I'm so sad but I keep telling myself that I will just make someone go with me for the next album tour. Or I'll just save up enough money and fly a Lambie out to Kansas and we'll go to the show. But today maybe I'll just stalk KC and try to find band.

Glam- Sorry to hear that you've been so sick, hon. Hope you're feeling better. That's funny though and pretty cool that you hallucinated/dreamt L.A.M.B.- I've done the same thing, only to wake up and find out that no, I don't have new L.A.M.B. like I thought! LOL!

As for me, personally, I'm just mental anymore these days. The stress is really getting to me. My tolerance is about zilch for any type of bullsheet, then when I do voice my opinion (like last night) I'm told to "shut the hell up". Yeah- that much disrespect going on. Needless to say- My eyes are wide-open. The future will tell, but I've had ENOUGH!
Some things just need to get better first. But I'm not going to take it anymore. I shouldn't have to. If DH can't respect me after all these years, I'm not going to try and hope he will anymore.
Thanks for letting me vent, but I have no one else at the moment to talk to.

On a lighter note: I've sold a bag (not L.A.M.B.) so there will be some "save" money there for me. BUT I hate PayPal and their damn HOLDs on funds. It's a pain in the rump for me. I had to tell my buyer that I have no extra money to ship, blah blah blah, that I need the funds to pay for her shipping, blah blah blah, not my fault but paypal's unfriendly pain in the ass policy. I didn't say it all that way, I was nice, but gosh- now I know why I try to use e-bay for selling as a last resort. They are so unfriendly to us sellers anymore (but buyers can get away w/ murder- I don't, I'm a good buyer). Ugh! I better go take an antianx med. before I really blow up.

At least the buyer I'm conversing with right now is being nice. I'm just losing faith. I'm holding back tears b/c I can't cry right now b/c DH is here and he just acts like nothing ever happened last night (this is common and has been this way for years when we've fought or he's upset me). I just can't let things go! It's too damaging to my mentality, heart, and soul.

It has been 12 days and no smoking, cold turkey. I was only smoking 3-5 a day but I am happy regardless. I have gained 2 pounds but no more coughing or headaches at night so well worth it.

I don't list anything unless I know I can send it. If someone pays right away it is only fair that the item is mailed with the same courtesy. To do otherwise just isn't fair. Just my two cents.

Heathie, congrats on not smoking! You are doing so well! Don't give up and don't look back!! My friend just celebrated two years of being smoke-free. It's such a wonderful gift to give to yourself!

^^I understand what you mean, Cerulean. But honestly- I wasn't even sure if it would sell or not- it's always such a gamble anymore. But the buyer is being wonderful about it. Every time I do have a little bit of money- I can never seem to hold onto it. Being the only one with the "income"- it's just hard.
