Thanks, Ghst. The only way I'm functioning right now is to be doped up. LOL! Kind of keeps my mind off of everything else, I guess. |

K- I know what you mean!! I've been banned for months, come on here, torture myself, get upset b/c I can't buy/have, ect. But it's fun!!
Despite issues of life; I'm currently trying to purge my collection to make room somehow!! I've got 16 days til my b-day and I want a new L.A.M.B. to be coming to me! Everything I've been going through, um, I think I well deserve it! So if I can scratch one itch, I'll be good to go for a while longer. LOL! Doing pretty good today. The nerve is still pinched, I can feel that, but the inflammation has gone down some. I still have yet to bonk my DH over the head with my Rocksteady bag (afraid of the damage it may cause to my bag), or I could knock him out w/ a boob!!! Yes, I'm full of it at the moment! |

Hey Yvonne! Which part of Texas are you in? I've only been to Dallas...and people immediately knew I was from Canada because of my accent.
Happy 4th of July to all my American tpf friends!

A little sad. Former Titans QB Steve Mcnair was shot and killed today in Nashville. He was a really great guy, my husband had met him a few times. Even though I am a die hard Cowboys fan the Titans were my #2 team, having learned to love them after living here 4 years. He led the Titans to the Superbowl in 2000 and is just beloved here. So sad.

^^Yes, I heard about that. Geesh- the news has just been full of sad news lately.
I had a VERY good 4th. I went and saw some old friends of mine, including a gal who I haven't seen since she and I graduated from H.S.!! So I had a lot of fun. I didn't have to worry about driving so I had Tequilla for the first time ever and that was FUN!! No hangover either! Yay! It was so nice to just let loose and not stress about anything. Didn't get home til 3 a.m. this morning!! That's the latest I've stayed out in years! As for L.A.M.B. news- I may just have a little bit of funds coming to me to bring me some $ towards saving for my next L.A.M.B. off my wishlist. Some savings is better than none- it's a start. We'll see. But I'm really really really really wanting to add a new member to "my girls". I rarely use any other bags than my L.A.M.B.s. I'm very devoted, though I will stray here and there, but that's it. |

I'm glad you had fun Legs!
It rained all night here. Usually you can see the city fireworks show from our front porch but it got cancelled so we went and got fireworks at 10 at night and our three year old stayed up a little late. He was so excited when we were buying them but when we got home all he wanted to do was, of course, just play with the sparklers. My husband had fun though! He burned his foot because he wasn't wearing shoes and pieces of the sparklers kept falling off and he stepped on a pretty big piece, even though I told him about 10 times I would go get his shoes for him, and then we had some of those you put inside the giant tube and they look like the professional ones. Well, you are supposed to put it on the ground but my DH decided to hold it. The firework went off fine, but the bottom of the tube went off in his hand. Needless to say his hands were black, no real injury though. He is like a child when it comes to fireworks. |

Hope everyone had a good 4th!
We went to my momas and had a bbq. There was also a jumper/waterslide there that the kids were having a blast in! It was a good day. All that was missing was my grampa. =( My bros bday is today (hes 21) so we always celebrate it after fireworks. Today he went to see the dodgers in san diego. Heathie, i heard about mcnair. It's so sad. Oh and I hope your hubby is ok. My brothers always make me nervous holding fireworks. Oh and my bf is a huuuuuge cowboy fan too! |

Yeah, Heathie, I did have a blast. Now it's back to the same old same old. I'm about to escape my house for an evening walk though. Got a bit irritated here @ home. So- to let out the steam, I walk w/ my I-Pod blastin'! When am I EVER going to not let so much sh*t get to me? Never I guess, unless it's just me and my son.
