is he acting normal? if he's acting normal, try alternating children's motrin with tylenol. you give one, then if the fever doesnt' start decreasing, an hour later give the other. then wait a few hours, that should work. i'd do a cool compress on the head too. if he's acting normal, eating, etc, then i'd wait and call the dr in the morning. if he's lethargic or acting ill, not eating, then call now.

how old is he? if under 6 months old, don't do the motrin.

glamblover - hope your nephew is doing better. I hate when little one's fevers get that high. I've been known to alternate tylenol and motrin sometimes. See what the doctor says because some are kinda weird about it but I'm like "whatever works" theory.

I'm so excited about shoes tomorrow. I'm hoping I see excellent prices because I do not own a pair of LAMB shoes but I really should. Keep your fingers crossed!!!!

I'm also torn because a customer came in the store tonight with the cutest sequin purse. I mean really cute but it's a coach. Don't get me wrong, I respect the coach but EVERYONE has a coach in this town. But it's sparkly and I want it. Now I don't know what to do, do I be good and say no and get the Covey this fall OR do I get the pretty shiny thing and say no to lamb this fall? ARGH! This a really hard call but it also depends on what happens tomorrow and the shoe sale.

i may have to get the covey. i ended up having to email my SA at Nordies to cancel my pre-sale appt for monday because i forgot my kids summer camp is starting and i'll be too rushed. i may not even reschedule, i think i'll skip this sale and wait for fall. i already pre-ordered the bow bag, and with the covey coming, i think the fall is nicer than what's going to be at the anniversary sale. why tempt myself?!

is the covey only going to be at Saks?

Maybe you can do the presale a couple of days before Monday? I told a few of the SAs that I can't make it in next week and they told me to drop by on the weekend for the presale instead - they have all the stuff ready this week anyways.

ghst...thanks. not sure they would let me go early. but in a way, i don't want to buy anything, i already pre-saled like $400 worth of cosmetics. so maybe it's better. LOL once i get the catalog, if i see something i really want, i can always go tues/wed or something next week.

children's motrin always works for my guy

I was up with my nephew all night. Every few hours his fever would spike. I did alternate the tylenol and motrin. We did cool baths and rags...it was hard because he kept crying that he was cold. It was the oddest thing his fever was high and he was lethargic and wouldn't move, ect. I'd get it down and then I'd see some of the little guy I know...it kills me when he is sick like that.

Oh and to update on my work stuff they took me back off work yesterday...the doctor gave me lyrica for nerve pain which I'm afraid to take because of the side effects...so, well see what happens.

Hey ladies just a heads up, bath and body works has 90% off select items. It started yesterday. I spent $20 there today and got myseld two shower gels (full size) and goodies for 5 baby shower gifts. Most of the stuff I got was 50 to 75 cents!

Hi Lambies! I've been MIA for a while trying to stay away from temptation but couldn't resist any longer!!! Hope everyone is doing well :) I have a lot of catching up to do!

I was in a lot of pain with my back, hip, and leg yesterday on top of not being a happy camper in general. I ended up going to the ER b/c I just couldn't take it anymore. It had been over 24 hours anyways that I had been in pain. And taking Advil just wasn't helping at all, neither was stretching, heat, showers, ect. - I tried. So I got a ride to the ER. After examining me and peeing in a cup (took me 2 7-up's b/c I have a "shy bladder") I was diagnosed with a pinched nerve. I have meds to take for a bit and so far I'm feeling better today. I was quite "doped up" yesterday which allowed me to get some extra rest- that sure felt good!
Today I'm telling myself that I'm just not going to care or let the issues bother me, how well that will work, I don't know. Stressing is bad for you, I know, so I at least have to cave in and just ride the wave for a bit.

^I hope you feel better soon legsie! My younger sister has the same thing and her back acts up from time to time. The only way for her to get rid of it is to be doped up too! *big hugs*

Today I was at Nordstrom and did an early anniversary presale as I told the SA I wasn't going to come in next week when it actually starts. The LAMB bags are all the leather ones but no LAMB wallets on sale. I was a bit disappointed with the leather bags - they just didn't seem as nice as the music line ones (even though I know there was so much quality issues with the music line). I ended up selecting the red patent trim burberry tote. I also got a pair of coach sandals as well from the shoe dept presale. I think this year I'm going to be good and not overspend during the anniversary sale.
