The sneaker spray is Foot Locker Sneaker Protector. I use it on my Signature bags.

I can honestly say I've carried it at least a dozen times without a mark. I'm also not the "neatest" person with my bags - I'll put them down on the floor at work, carried them with sweaters (no pilling!), and it's still looking fab!

Spray first - add a second coat if needed - then dry and use!

That's soooooooo awesome to know!
Someday........ I will have one and I will do the same to mine.

And of course I have the whole set of Applegarde products and love them!

Thanks for all the info!! I'll get in on this ASAP.. But for now, the bag stays in its dust bag, lol.

I tried scraping the glue off and then the rubbing alcohol, the glue marks are still there but they faded. Heheh, awesome. :)

Oh man, this thread reminded me -

I used my Darjeeling Bihar in Claret when I wore a pair of brand new jean shorts that were saturated with dye. I knew they were going to transfer dye b/c I put a seat cover on my car seat because of them, but I totally forgot about the straps on my bag!

So... the bottom of the canvas strap on the back of my bag is dyed blue and looks pretty bad (I treated it with scotchguard 3 times when I first bought it!)
I am not too upset though, I figure I can try to wash it out or if all else fails, use fabric paint to paint over it. I am just glad it's on the strap on the back of the bag.
