I just remembered that I never mentioned this on this thread. If you all remember I had a stint of receiving either defective bags or bags that showed wear within 2 weeks (Rasta, Cheetah). To make a long story short, I ended up returning 4 bags over the course of a year: rasta mandeville, rasta grantham, cheetah and silver oxfords. Needless to say, I was pretty miffed. I researched and learned that Shifter and Partners was the manufacturer of the bags. I wrote a very detailed but cordial email to them explaining how dissappointed I was in the quality of the bags. Well, Timothy Schifter himself replied to me and basically apologized and then sent me a free Rasta Wallet! A $255 value. Can you believe it??? This happened about a year ago, but I thought I would share, as you all would be the ones to appreciate this tale the most. It pays to voice your opinion sometime (but always be polite).

The rasta on the wallet has actually held up pretty well. I also have a Rasta Montego that is doing well also. You just have to be careful.

^^ My Rasta Montego is holding up incredibly well also. I wonder if it has something to do with the shape?

now we should all go off and write some positive critique letter to them, on nice scented paper....and maybe we can become like their new consultant test group!
