Saks has been messing up lately. I found that page a few days ago by searching shopstyle.com. When I used Saks Live Chat, I was told that the bag is no longer available online so I asked them to check the stores. I was told that only one available in the country was at a Saks store. I didn't get a chance to call the store next day, so I used Live Chat again that night and was told that the bag wasn't available at all. I'm getting so frustrated with Saks. First, the "Sponge Bob" Carlisle now the Silver Oxford. Why have a page displaying something you're not selling (Sponge Bob Carlisle) or that's not available (Silver Oxford)? Ugh! And the price was so great - comparable to Off 5th with a 30% off coupon.

Isn't that weird? I ran into the Oxford just by clicking their big banner for the current Designer Sale, wasn't even looking for L.A.M.B. in particular, so I almost screamed out loud when I saw that Oxford, showing as in stock, and on sale to boot.

Their website is completely offline right now at 11:30 pm CT on a weeknight - which is a bit odd, too. Maybe they shot the webmaster LOL.

This is getting ridiculous. They really need to do something about the problems with their website ASAP!

At any rate, keep your eyes peeled. I refuse to believe that there are no more retailers in the country that carry brand new Silver Oxfords. If I had the time, I'd call every Saks and Off 5th to find one.

Although there are probably only a few, I'm sure they are still out there. WinterStorm is right...the only way to be sure is to stretch your fingers and start dialing...

There is that one that is available on eBay - it says it's from a sample sale. I'll admit, I'm a dork, and still not totally clear on what that means?

The BIN price is not super low.. but maybe with a good live.com cashback, could be a deal - if it's in decent shape.

Hmmm, the BIN price seems a little high to me, especially since they got it from a sample sale. Just keep checking NR, Saks and Off 5th. One is bound to turn up for close to the starting bid price. I know that Off 5th was selling the older print Oxfords for $419.99 and with a 30% off coupon, it'll come to about $293. I'd also try Saks Live Chat because you never know what may turn up.

I also noticed that the seller is either unexperienced with L.A.M.B. or isn't being truthful because they're saying the bag was never mass produced which we know isn't true.

Thanks Winter - I will!

I think it's time for me to get the shopmobile out and work the stores around here!

That person paid about 175 for the bag... unlessthe prices at the sample sale went up this time..

Either way, something's up with the clasp and while it's a sample.. this auction is so jacked.. she calls the print shadow, says it's not mass produced. sample it is... mass produced it was.

i hate ill-informed auctioneers... at least when I sell something that I dont know much about i RESEARCH.

Oxfords were $250 at the sample sale - FYI! The prices did go up from last ear's - but they were still good

I've seen a couple - just not the patterns I'm looking for, tho still tempting. Have seen a whole lot of Silver Montegos & Kingstons lately - which I wouldn't mind having - but - I have this very specific jones for an Oxford in Silver right now.

Which is, of course, dangerous! Easy to make rash decisions LOL.. I'll bide my time and keep looking, one is bound to turn up at thr right price.
