^^ LOL! Same here. I guess I would like to see more Alston's though. And the revival of the Saddle print.

I just have one gripe... an easy way of getting things repaired. With all the issues with the Rasta print, and stripe issues and clasp issues on the older bags it would be nice to have a clear cut way to get repairs done.

Well brick, you know how I feel about the Fall '08 leather collection. But I don't consider my comments as b*tching - just my opinion based on the photos I've seen so far.

Whether or not someone likes a certain bag is completely subjective and I can't pretend to fawn over something that doesn't suit my taste - even if it's L.A.M.B.. Unfortunately, what I've seen so far this season isn't really my style. I'm a young, single, childless, professional woman and want my wardrobe to reflect that.

At any rate L.A.M.B.ies - no harm, no foul. If a L.A.M.B. makes your heart go pitter patter - do you!

^ Granny told me- "The dog that gets hit by the rock barks first". I didnt see anyones name listed anywhere in the title of this thread. And congrats on all the things you say you are. This forum has a very diverse group of women and gent with many different lifestyles, so if its not your style or something you dont like thats fine. It's all in how its done when you dont.

I will add that one thing that does happen over here is that we are supportive to each other, and "try" not to bash something that someone clearly likes out of respect for their taste. When that is done it's almost like sitting around with a group of people you chat with, and you bring out a bag with something that your excited to show them. They then start finding everything wrong with it by calling out all their dislikes on what you love. Who likes that? I know I have even noted that I carry LAMB at work, and someone has come up to me to admire my bag...but then turn around and say I dont LAMB right after checking my bag out. My reply to that person is, Did I ask you? and keep your opinions to yourself if you dont like my bag, thats just rude. That would be the "classy" way to handle it right? I cant see myself doing that to a coworker or associate. People have showed me FUGLY things that they are excited about, and I am dissing it in my head, but I always say.."Oh nice"... or "Girl, doesnt it feel good when you find that bag you love"... But I guess some people just dont know any better. When you know better, you do better right?.

Good luck on your search though.

I think I asked one time before but never got an answer. Has anyone actually had a repair done?

I never had a repair done. My sister's husband accidently ripped off the zipper handle? off her saddle mandeville (it wasn't a manufacturer mistake but his lol) and when she brought it into Nordstrom, the purchasing manager told her what they do is that the store will send the bag to the manufacturer for repairs. However it will take a long time. My sister has yet to bring in her bag for repair...at least the buyer doesn't have to send it back themselves.

^^ But what if they got it from eBay or something? I know we have the manufacturer's address floating around the sub-forum somewhere... Just wondering how much they charge, the turnaround, etc. If anything ever happens to my Rasta Montego or BE Exeter and I can't get it fixed I will jump out of a window, lmao!

What Miss N said... more Alstons, and re-release of the Saddle print.

I wish some of the handles were a wee bit longer too so I could get them over my shoulder.
