Default compare westfield tote checkboard w. leopard Esquivel Stachel

I'm considering these two bags, this will be my first L.A.M.B.
What are your opinions on the two?
Thank you!

Well, the Westfield can go on your shoulder and is north-south, whereas the Esquivel is hand-carry (it can go on your shoulder but is an armpit bag and not comfortable that way) and is east-west. I would definitely think the Westfield would hold more. I bought the esquivel many moons ago but returned it because it just seemed too wide for me. Which Checkerboard are you thinking about?

I think my vote would be for the Westfield.

Hmmm, thank you, the Esquivel does look wide, but the print is so cute.
And the westfield looks very classy. I'm looking at the camel checkerboard.

I think the Westfield would be better for an everyday bag.

Hmm, I actually prefer the WL over the CC, but the Westfield over the Esquivel. Can you get a WL Westfield??

My older sister has the Lipstick Saddle Esquivel and she rarely carries it because she also finds it's a bit wide and keeps hitting everything around her. Personally, I love the Esquivel shape but I don't find it as a practical everyday handbag. If you're planning on using it a lot, go with the Westfield Tote - the camel checkerboard is very cute.

The Esquivel is my favorite L.A.M.B. shape. It holds a ton and it doesn't bother me as an armpit bag. It's actually more comfortable for me on the shoulder than the Marley because the straps aren't always falling off. I don't think it's too wide at all.

I have never carried a Westfield so I can't compare the two. However, the Esquivel/Aviano bags are my favorite due to their shapes.

I don't have an esquivel but i do have a westfield, and it is very comfy to carry. And it's pretty big, so if you are a big purse wearing girl then you will love it. It carrys a bunch!

Hmmm. I'd say go with the print you like most. But personally, I've seen both prints IRL and prefer the WL (I bought and returned a CC Watchwell; my mother owns a WL Alston). Also, I've also seen both bag shapes IRL (I own a LS Esquivel; my mother bought and later returned a LS Westfield) and prefer the Esquivel because it zips shut whereas the Westfield is completely open.

Have you ever considered the WL Alston? It's a great bag - my mother loves hers and carries it all the time.

I just checked Saks.com and they have it for a great price.

the Westfield is a great bag. I found it a little small but thats because I love huge (Devon, Neverfull) bags. I think you'd enjoy the shape, size, and function of the Westfield. The one thing is that the Signature stripe cracks easily on the Westfields....!

Thank you everyone for the feedback!
I ended up purchashing two, but wait, they are:
Checkerboard Westfield - on sale at Saks for 286.xxx
Leopard Alston - same price as above.
And they both arrived today! Wow! Saks delivery is superb!
I have to say I love both!!! Alston is huge, a bit too big for everyday I think, but great if I need to go on a trip. And westfield is the best, so beautiful and functional. I think I'm going to wear it tomorrow. The checkerboard is light to dark from top to bottom. Not sure what is it called?
Anyhow, thank you everyone! I fell in love with L.A.M.B. Now I think I need a smaller bag to put in the big bags. LOL
