Thanks lambie!
Now one more, it's not a stock photo, but just to be safe

And a quick question, this is an XL, and I'm roughly a 14, 16, 18ish depending. I'm 5'8 too. Do you think it would fit?

That one is good too Nat! And you really don't see it around to often anymore.

I know it has stretch, so you should be all good. How do you feel about the measurements? It's says 18.5 and that is un-stretched. Do you have any l.a.m.b clothing?

Nope, so that's why I'm a little on the cautious side.

^ Ok gotcha. You should be fine, cuz it does have stretch. But i'm really not 100% sure that you will be happy with it. Sorry hun. L.a.m.b sizing is so up and down. It changes from one season to the next. It's crazy!

Yeah I understand, L.A.M.B really doesn't have a standard size chart. But this season she did size up and extend the size range, but it's this collection really doesn't have any sweaters. But then again, I'm from the chilly Northeast and Gwen is not, and L.A.M.B isn't even recognized here. That's why I think I belong in California.

But enough of that. I think I'm going to go ahead and try it out. I could always wear a Spanx underneath it to give it a smoother appearance over my gut. Haha

Thanks!

Default Dorset Covey Fakes?
Hi there,

I just purchased my first L.A.M.B. bag, on eBay. I bought the Dorset Covey, and am skeptical at is authenticity. The leather is very sturdy; so sturdy, that is feels fake. It's super heavy, as everyone described on a thread about the Covey, and the details are impeccable (it'd be a really good fake). Again, it's just that the embossed leather feels fake, almost like plastic.

Can anyone verify for me that this is how the leather is supposed to feel?

Thanks!

Hi and welcome allicat!

Yes, the leather on the Dorset bags is very thick and heavy. L.A.M.B. handbags have not been widely faked (only the navy/yellow leopard print have been seen). I had a Covey in Ink but returned it b/c it was too heavy for me, but I will probably buy another if I find a sale because it is such a cute bag. I know know what you mean about the leather being so thick it almost feels plasticky, but I am pretty sure you have an authentic bag. Congrats on your first L.A.M.B.!

Apparently, this is a sample piece and it looks absolutely gorgeous. But it's from Hong Kong. Should this be a red flag? Then again, LAMB is made in China. Sooo gorgeous.

I've seen this seller before with quite a few auth. L.A.M.B. sample pieces. I think you should be fine.
