Ladies, I am TOTALLY and 100% new to LAMB. I'm a die-hard Coachie, but I was tooling around ebay and saw this amazing satchel...I just HAVE to have it! It is so unique and COOL! Can you give me the thumbs up or down on authenticity, good price, last years bag, etc? I've seen this pattern in several different types of bags...I'm liking the Mandeville (?) and the Exeter Frame (?)...please don't shoot me if I have the names wrong! I'm guessing the names are the style of bag? And those styles come in different prints?

Hi and welcome knuttybar!!! The print that you are eyeing is the Ombre Checkerboard. The style of the first two are the mandeville and the last is the Exeter. I own the Ombre Checkerboard Exeter and love it!!! But some people find it to be too small. These bags are a past season. But there are plenty of them at Off 5th and they are running 30% off handbags right now. So that would be 30% off of $297 is like $208 + tax. If you don't have an Off 5th near you they will do charge sends. Good luck and let us know if you need any more help!

that's the ombre checkerboard pattern and you got it right.. first two is the mandeville and the last one is exeter.. like knaz said, off 5th has plenty of them.. both styles.. for the exeter, you definitely can get it cheaper from off 5th.. they have the 30% off handbags going on right now.. you can do a phone order and they'll charge you shipping for $13.. and if it's an out-of-state order, tax free.. so probably try to call random off 5th.. locate one out-of-state maybe so you can save on tax too..

BTW...would the Mandeville be a better choice? I like my bags on the big side, I usually carry a Coach Legacy Satchel (which are pretty huge). I love the style of the Exeter, but want something that will hold all my goodies (like the matching wallet I've seen...so CUTE!)

for me,
mandeville is the perfect size.. that's the smallest i can go.. i loveee everything about the exeter except for the size..

There is an Off 5th right here in Cincinnati! I'm going there after work to check them all out...I called and the lady was so sweet, she said they had loads of good LAMB bags (and shoes!). Thank you ALL for the valuable info and keep an eye out for my very first LAMB pic post!

Knuttybar you're in Cincinnati?? Small world!! I'm headed down there today after work to take a bag to LV for repair. It is pretty much impossible for me to go to Cincy without stopping at Off for at least a second, lol. The SA that you spoke to, did she mention what other prints were there besides Ombre Checkerboard? I'm just curious as to when they're gonna get stuff like Bullseye and White Leopard.

No she did not...her name was Betty and she usually works the shoe department. She just gave me a couple of different styles, (she said there were some bowling bag style bags (?) and some satchels, but didn't give any names of prints or anything.

Do you live in Cincy or nearby?? How cool is that! I live in Eastgate, but work in Sharonville so Cincy Mills is just a few miles from me.

Actually I live in Dayton. But considering Cincinnati Mills is really before you get into Cincy and I live in the south part of Dayton I can make it in 30 minutes if there's not a lot of traffic. I wanted to go yesterday but I had to go to LV first and the traffic was HORRIBLE! By the time I did that and ran my other errands it was like 8:35. I knew there was no way I'd make it out there before 9. Did you go?

Yep, I went but they didn't have the Ombre in the Mandeville. I was able to order one from another Off 5th and it will be here next week!

They had the Ombre in the Montego (?) which looked SOOO nice, I almost went for that one. They had a type of Cheetah print (sorry I couldn't say which one) in the Mandeville and that shape of bag is really me. I didn't think I would care for the Rasta, but it is really beautiful IRL. After I give the Ombre a try and if I like it, I may have to get a Rasta too!

I have a love/hate relationship with Rasta. It is by far my favorite print, but I hate how delicate it is. Wow, they still have a Cheetah Mandeville? They've had those since January! I'm glad you were able to find your Ombre Mandeville...even if you'll have to wait a bit to receive it.
