Weight of Kooba purses?

Hi,
I've enjoyed reading the tpf for awhile, but this is my first post. I hope I've got the right place; my question is about the Kooba jessie. I've seen different websites describe it as 13.5 X8 X 2.25.......or 16 X 8 X 5
what a big difference!! I am very petite and can't carry off a large or heavy bag. Folks who own or have seen the Jessie, how big is it? I do need something that carries more stuff than the Kooba Keira (beautiful but not enough storage space for me) Can someone post a picture of a regular gal/not model carrying the bag so I can get the size in perspective?
As a comparasion, I have an Fiore garden of weavin' and Kooba Annie that sit in my closet because I can't manage the size/weight of them.
Also, the gryson skye bag looks so chic-is it very heavy/big for a small woman?

I'm too lazy to walk down the hall to my closet right now, as it is midnight....but I believe my Jessie is the 13 x 8 by 2.25 size, and I didn't think they came any bigger than that. It can carry my wallet, cell phone, sunnies in a case, reading glasses in a case, small makeup bag, gum, keys and pen with some room to spare for something like a paperback or small pack of tissues. My side pockets are still empty at this point, so there is additional room for small incidentals. It works for me!

Hi Helen...Welcome! I've seen you around eBay I believe.

The Jessie is more of a 15 in length. It sounds perfect for what you want but there is a thread here that shows pics of people's Jessies that might help you. I had a Kiera and it's definitely larger and has more carrying room because of it's depth. You can use the search button on this forum to find old threads but I will try to find and post the one with the pics for you...

I have the Skye Gryson. I had it in regular leather and now the Woven. I do not find it to be overly heavy but the woven is definitely heavier than the regular. It's a terrific bag with wondrous quality.

I'm shocked. I thought these bags were actually much heavier. I guess I'll have to admit its the everything I throw in my Kooba too that weighs so much!

Lexie - does the Ada weigh 42 pounds just by itself or stuffed full with things? I love the look of it and was thinking about getting one on sale, but that weight might break my poor shoulder...

Actually it's not horrid. But definitely a heavier bag especially when filled. All that leather and all those studs. Anyone have one they can weigh? I'm going to guess 4 lbs.

Ahh what's a little Rotor Cuff repair when it comes to loving your bags. This is the greatest bag to sneak in your own popcorn and pop into the movie theater. This is the explanation I gave my husband when it arrived and he said he did see it had its purposes. I have to appeal to his baser instincts.

that would without a doubt get my boyfriend to LOVE that handbag. he's always making me smuggle stuff into movies in my handbags for him...

My Jessie bag weighs 2.6 lbs. Quite heavy, actually, but I guess you get used to carrying it.

I really am not fond of heavy bags, and I have a Jessie, and surprisingly, I don't think that it is heavy at all! I love that bag. I would call it "substantially constructed"....

If this helps any, I purchased a Kooba Carla from NM online. It just shipped and the tracking invoice says the package weighs 3.8 lbs. So I would guess that the Carla weighs at least 2 - 2.5 lbs?

When I was first looking at the Sienna at least a year ago, I thought it weighed a ton when I pranced around the store with it, and I didn't know if I could actually pull it off. Here it is, a year later, and I did buy one, and the whole weight thing must be relative, because I just think of it as substantial, but not really heavy. That great embossed leather just makes everything better!
