I really wish I jumped on the Blake Amethyst bandwagon when they were first released. I saw one sold on Ebay for like $800. I love the shape and I love the color and waiting for a brand new one is nearly impossible...but that's what I want.

Oh well. Just pull the trigger next time, just pull the trigger.

My desire for a matte Jaylin (brown first, then black) has actually made me crabby (or is it crazy

). I start and end every day with an extensive web search.

I seriously cannot believe how obsessed I am with finding this non-existent bag. Did they only make 5 of them?! How is it possible that no one ever sells theirs (not that I would if I had it, so I actually do understand that). I have scrolled through the "authenticate" forum and I think I saw one that came up in more than the last 12 months. OMG!

I see a smattering of cute bags (among the thousands that I view), but every time I go back to pics of the brown Jaylin, it changes my view of whatever bag I was considering instead. (ummm, maybe I should just stop looking at the old Jaylin pictures, eh?).

I have already warned my husband that regardless of budget/finances, if this bag ever shows up for sale, all bets are off and that baby is mine!

Haha you are so funny! I remember obsession like that before for the Botkier Nomad in bronze leather. Boy did I love that bag! I hope your search turns out more fruitful then mine though. The Jaylin is really nice, i have the bigger sister Jacinda in Sand and I love using her for the summer.

Oh Geesh...That Botkier Nomad in Bronze was a gorgeous bag. Kinda sorry I ever parted with it.

Now that does make me feel better because I was starting to feel like a bit of whackadoo..you know, "yeah, I know it's just a purse", but the quest to find it is as much a part of my day as breathing or checking my bank balance.

Just looked up the Botkier Nomad, and THAT is a great looking bag. Did you ever find it (in any color)? What a classic and timeless style!

I think the Jacinda is a cute bag to, and considered it (more than once), but then realized I would still want the brown Jaylin. Kind of like eating Mexican when you crave chinese - you're going to end up paying for a meal that isn't quite what you want, and you'll still be walking around with a craving for Mongolian Beef (not hot). (really, it's way past my bedtime)

I feel like I'm 12 again with a stupid crush on Shaun Cassidy (yes, I'm that old). You know, so cute, so dreamy, "some day", and yet really it's more like "uh no, never gonna happen".

But then again, Davy Jones DID end up showing up for Marcia Brady's prom (dance?), so if I wish to continue with this old teen idol theme, then maybe it could happen. Perhaps I could become brown Jaylin's biggest fan, president of the local fan club, and make promises to all (at my work?) that brown Jaylin WILL be here. But then I would have to figure out what hotel (or recording studio) brown Jaylin is at, find a disguise and then get into an appearance where she could over hear my plight and save the day. Brady Bunch? Anyone? Anyone?

Sorry, is that "reported" referring to my post? If so, why? My question is sincere as I am still somewhat new to TPF and not familiar with all of the rules. My understanding of this thread is that it is an open discussion forum.

I want a dark brown studded Tracy. I found one in Orlando a few months ago at NM Last call for $395 and didnt buy it. Ive been regretting it ever since. Anyone know where to find this bag.

I would love to find a Kooba Lucy. Black or brown. I don't know the "official" colors of the Lucy or what collection year they are from, still learning and researching. It is hilarious in learning about Kooba I've been reading threads from 07!
