That's okay KoobaMe...I blew it today too. I was too wishy washy on that stupid desert Marcelle tonight on eBay....bid up to the highest earlier bidders highest bid...and just wasn't motivated to go any higher. I really couldn't afford it....and I found a post that I wrote about six months ago and I quote "I'm selling my desert Marcelle because looking at it the stainage factor makes my head swim." Of course, now that I've heard good things about the desert color from some of the ladies here, I was back on the fence....and I found myself with like 2 minutes 22 seconds left and I'm frantically mentally going over every bag I have in my closet - do I need this - do I need this - do I need this....I blew it. And now I feel a bit sad. But I feel a bit victorious that I didn't spend the money. But if anyone wishes to part with their desert Marcelle, I'm the girl for you....

~handing you a hankie~ I know what you mean, jelly bean! I've done that a gazillion times. Did it also with an Isabella Fiore last night and when I checked this morning at the crack of dawn (first thing on my mind when I awoke) she was gone. Everything happens for a reason, right? Maybe we weren't supposed to buy yet another bag right now ....that's my rationalization and I'm stickin' to it! hmmph! Maybe we should arrange a play date for our Marcelle families so they don't get lonely.....heeheehee! |

I really wanted an auburn Brynne on e-Bay a week or two ago. I agreed a BIN price with the seller, and they said they'd relist it. Well, they relisted it and someone threw in a starting bid before I realized the seller had relisted it, so the BIN price was immediately wiped out, so I couldn't buy it. I contacted the seller and she then offered to put it up at just a BIN price so I could buy it, if I agreed $5 more. I agreed. She relisted it FIRST and then just sent me an e-mail to say she'd relisted it and by the time I went in, someone had bought it!!! I wasn't happy.

Thanks for the heads up Klara, I'll keep browsing until one comes up that grabs my fancy and has International shipping. It doesn't have to be a particular color, although black or auburn would be nice.

I am searching for an ink Natasha. I am really hoping that a few will turn up at the outlets. Maybe? Please? Also kicking myself for passing on the black or oak Brynne when they were on sale at NM.com.

There was an espresso Scarlett on eBay a while back that I really regret not getting. I also love the Marcelle in a couple of the different shades of brown, especially cognac, but I haven't been able to bring myself to get one.

Im still dreaming of a NWT Desert Marcelle or Sienna.

I'm not sure what Kooba I want next. I was tempted by a couple of desert Marcelles a while back but didn't go for either. Recently I wish I'd bid on a black Brynne that came up on eBay, but I got home too late to bid. I fear I am likely to stray into other handbag designer territory since the new Koobas are a bit strange, although I do like the look of the Layla and Jennifer. I might be tempted with one of those one day.... but only if I find a bargain buy. They're not on my 'must have' list.

You're going to laugh...I have a brand new with tags Desert Marcelle sitting in my closet for about 2 1/2 years - I never wore it! (Don't ask me why - so stupid) I sprayed my bag to protect it many a time. I tried it on the other day and fell in love again.... and now I see it's like the Holy Grail bag on here LOL who knew - it was totally a last minute splurge of mine (my first Kooba actually) from JC Madison.com - I was going to return it years ago but they wouldn't take it back LOL
