I really like the Liz. Now if I could just check out the leather ahead of time in person rather than ordering blindly only to find out it's one of the 'problem' leathers.....

The more I look at the Liz the more I want one. The leather on the black one (when you zoom in) looks really fantastic. I'm really liking it in white as well.

I think the dimensions on the Liz & Marin are backward in the listing. The Marin is the smaller of the two but shows larger dimensions.

I really really like the Liz. I've been looking at it online for a while at NM. Gorgeous bag. I would love to see it in real life and get a look at the leather.

Rose: Good question. I would imagine it's more matte. The grommets look just like those on the Carla/Ginger. I may have to check my Nordies this weekend to see if they're carrying it.

It's odd because the Black bag does show a nicer distressed leather where the yellow one looks more like my Tess. I can't imagine they are using a wide variety of leathers on the same style bag. I am very very leary of Kooba. Until I test my Tess out I can't buy anymore. As anothe poster said....a Good quality leather will look better with use and age and I agree 100%. I don't abuse my bags at all and if My Tess ends up looking like a worn Tano bag I will be upset.

I'm won't be too terribly surprised if the leathers differ with the different colors. The Carla/Ginger in Chestnut is calfskin and heavy but the ones in black are made from lambskin and lighter so I think they've done this before. I am leery though of colored Kooba bags that are other than black, brown, red ...and maybe some of the whites. The other colors seem to have the most issues - like the fading/discolored Straw and Slate bags in the Lena/Sloane/Gretchen lines. I wonder the dye color/process has anything to do with it.

I hope your Tess holds up and wears beautifully Lexie. I also don't want to be stuck to three colors of Koobas when a style catches my eye because of issues with other colors.

Man, I'm starting to obsess on the Liz! The grommets are reminiscent of Carla and the bow reminds me of an Elisha...and the slouchiness looks yummy! It's becoming a must have! I really need to check out the leather somehow....

I'll admit the style is very very nice. I love the grommets and bow too. The size looks good too. It's confusing me this season. I am liking alot of styles where I think Kooba lacked in that area the last couple seasons. The question is still about the leathers. If they wear well and don't have issues then I could see myself getting some more Koobas.

You don't have to wait much longer cause I just pulled the trigger on this one! I fell in love after clicking the link for this purse and I love the dainty side bow, so very lady like. Also that yellow color is gorgeous and great for spring and summer. I will post pictures when I get her and let all you ladies know how it goes. So excited!
