Anyone who is familiar with the Sienna in Raisin is aware of the whipstitch fraying issues...Well, I've had mine sitting in the closet since 2007, I believe. And yup, that is why. To sell it I wouldn't get a plug nickel for it. I bought it sight unseen from NM Last Call when I was on Cape Cod for 5 months but had it shipped to my home in Fl...by the time I got home it was too late to return it. Did anyone come across a fix for this problem? It's such a waste to let it sit there unused all this time. It still smells luscious, BTW!

I have a Raisin and have the same fraying. I used Dritz Fray Check and glued it together using a toothpick for application. It's tedious, but seemed to work fine. I take cuticle scissors and cut off the stray hairs. Oh what we do for our classic Kookas!

Hey there azureartist! I certainly appreciate your input and will give it a try. Did you use the Dritz for the fraying and then glue to glue them together? If so, what glue did you use? Thanks again.

Yes the Dritz is glue. I dabbed a toothpick in the glue and went over all frayed whipstitches. It seemed the more I glued - the more it needed gluing. It was maddening!

Oh, my...Well, thanks for clearing that up. I see that they sell it at the neighborhood fabric store so I'll swing by and get some. The bag desperately needs some help. Hopefully I won't make a bad situation even worse. I'll let you know the outcome. Thanks again!
