It is a very cool bag. I wasn't sure about the studs either - I sold my Lucy in Bronze, Black, Ivory and Cognac....redundant much redundant much? But since the studs are grey and the bag is silver, they don't stand out as much. Another thing I love about the silver is that even though it's lambskin, it takes a much better "beating" than the lighter colors. Black would have held up fine too, but I was over it in black. If you do come across this bag, I'd grab it. It's extremely hard to find!

A funny (well, not so funny) story about this silver Lucy was that I ALMOST was scammed out of it by an international seller who wanted to conduct business off eBay, but wanted to pay me directy through Paypal. He was in an extreme rush to get the bag sent to Russia for a "birthday present" but when the Paypal payment came through, the address was right here in Santa Monica. I tried to confirm but he never responded, so I sent it to Santa Monica. That same day, he finally got back to me saying he wanted it sent to Russia! I frantically DROVE TO SANTA MONICA TO RETRIEVE THE BAG - which, by the way, was a glass company who had never heard of this guy!!!! I felt sick. When I got down there, retrieved the bag and came home, I found out that Paypal had frozen the monies believing they were "fraudulent". Turns out they were!!!!!! The scam was to pay with someone else's paypal account (hacked), get the merchandise off fast and then by the time Paypal discovered the problem, you're out the merchandise AND the money. Needless to say, I believe that this Lucy is going to be mine for quite some time. She's sitting at the bottom of one of my purse boxes tightly wrapped in her dust cover!!!!!

jchiara, that story just reminded me what a minefield ebay is, I've been really lucky (I'm not a seller) with the ebayers I've been dealing with (just jinxed that now, gonna be scammed big time soon, LOL) After all that I'd hang on to that Lucy too, what colour is the lining?

Believe it or not, Kooba decided to use a khaki green/brown color lining on these silver guys...I don't know why. The ivory, newer blacks, all had that pretty lilac interior. God - the fakes on eBay of those Lucys was so abhorant - it really was quite disturbing...

Maggie, I need to caution you about the Ivory Lucy... I carried mine for 3 days and the dirt and color transfer it picked up was awful. Black from my leather coat, blue from my jeans, dirt on the handles... Luckily it cleaned up well and I was able to resell and recover a decent amount of money.

I would love to own a Lucy someday in a dark color, as it was very comfortable to wear and the shape and size were just perfect. I just don't like bags that I need to baby, and Ivory wasn't for me...

Lexie, how do you like the sand? I'm kind of intrigued by that color leather. Have you taken it out yet?

Ok..
Im happy enough with my Scarlett now to really call it 'my own'. The day I got it I really wasnt sure about it at all. I even put it on Ebay for 2 days but then came to my senses and pulled the auction. Luckily I had no bids.
I have used it everyday since and now that I have broken it in a bit I love it!!
The colour seems to have darkened slightly which I prefer and the leather has gotten softer. I think I just dont like any bag that looks brand spanking new. I prefer worn in bags.
Anyway here it is...and watch this space, as Im bidding on a paige at the moment, so hopefully in a week I will be posting pics of that too!

Glad you changed your mind about that, Halzer, that bag is a keeper and hard to find now, plus I think that style is really wearable, so easy on the shoulder and that the colour is great!

Yes, I've been using it the last 2 days. I really like it. I didn't have anything in the sand color and I was starting to really like it. This leather is very thick and pebbly so it's unique. For some reason my husband has mentioned twice now how much he likes this bag. I have no idea why...LOL He said he likes the studs on that color so it doesn't look so biker chick.

My Kooba Carla in Terraine. This bag is pretty big and would probably dwarf a slight woman but it is so cool & casual. Love it.
