Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and KOOBA

Just did a quick scan of the threads here and did not see this posted yet....Nordstrom ANNIVERSARY SALE will feauture the Kooba Elisha. It is availible in chocolate with patent piping, black with patent piping and a wine color with patent piping. It is gorgeous and will be priced at $354!! The pre-sale has already started and these are flying off the shelves. My sister got the last one from our store in Brea, CA. Hope this helps someone!

Thanks for the info - unfortunately, my Nordies is also the Brea store but at least I know that I don't need to run down there since they are now out! LOL!!! Which is actually ok because I'm saving myself for a couple of the new Fall 08 styles!

lovekooba/lovemjbags- Sorry, I did a quick search and did not see any pics of the plum elisha. WHen I was there they only had the chocolate left, but that one was beautiful. The leather seemed very soft and luxurious.

I know purples are huge for this fall but I am not really feeling this color, it looks a little washed out IMO.

Could be your monitor that is making it look washed out...it's a gorgeous, rich color. Since it's plum and not purple there is pink in it. It's not as "bright" as the yellow and blue were in this style though!

I just ordered the wine Elisha!! If you look at the pics taken without flash from the Nordstrom website, it's much darker. I'm going to stop by the store tomorrow and see if they have the black one.

I ordered the plum last night - it's out of stock now - I hope it is a darker shade of plum too!

There is no "wine" Elisha. There is only the plum and black and brown.

Also, the pics on the Nordstrom site are ALL taken with flash. They just don't have very good front lighting which is why the bag looks darker on their website! My pic of the plum Elisha above was taken with studio lights which is an accurate representation of the color.

Right. It's plum not wine. I actually went to the Nordstrom a little late at night so all the Elisha's were sold out. I didn't get to see the real color, so I guess I'll have to wait for my package to arrive to see how dark it truely is. It's so hard to tell when every store is using different lighting.
