ok so i got my plum elisha today... am a little underwhelmed. i don't know why, it's just not what i expected. the color is not as rich as i thought it would be (although it is pretty, just wanted something darker), the brass and the pewter-ish patent piping kind of clash. i'm going to give myself some time before i decide to keep it or not. maybe i just need to get used to it? what do you ladies think?

I just got mine too, and I am NOT loving it. I am going to take it back. If I don't feel instant love, back it goes! There are too many other gorgeous bags to buy!

I got mine today too and I was wondering why they used brass - you're right - it clashes! Color is pretty but I'm just not sure I love it....

I got mine, too. I actually like it and thought it is a pretty color. I have tried many purple/plum/burgundy/cherry bags (Different Botkier styles for the most part) and found this is actually prettier than those. Very light-weight and the piping adds character to the bag. I have a red one without piping but I like this one better.

I presaled this bag in brown and received it a couple days ago. I was really not impressed with this bag at all. I honestly thought the leather looked really cheap and felt like plastic, so it has already been sent back to Nordstrom. Bummer.

I picked up mine too. I am not at all impressed with the leather. I agree it feels like pleather, stiff and bad dyeing job. Return!

I just spoke with a Nordstroms sales representative and she said that some stores do still have the new Kooba Elisha. Worth a try if you don't want to be gouged by the ebay sellers.
