Default new Kooba designs: Kristie, Logan, Blair, Harlow, etc.
Kristie

Logan

Blair

Harlow

Thoughts, laides?

I really am liking the look of the Logan, wish they had other colors. Really, really like the Kirstie in sand... but so far way partial to the new Dale from resort '09 collection. I am really lusting after this Dale.

Glad to see some new styles like these, though. Much more to my taste as opposed to Ryder, Rio and some other of the new bags....

Oooh! I've been scounting around lately looking for any sign of the new lines but hadn't found anything. I like the Logan and the Blair and agree on wishing there were other color options. They aren't inspiring Instant Bag Lust but we'll see when the whole line & available colors comes out.

Ooooh! According to Luna Boston's description of the Logan the interior lining is a burgundy silk-satin material!!!

I know! As nice as it is, I still mourn the loss of the ultra suede lining, but I am sure that will never come back. Also, it seems that they are holding their prices steady.

Well, I have to say they're uninspiring and I won't be legging it to the nearest Kooba stockist anytime soon. The only one that vaguely appeals to me is the Logan, but the leather could be a deal breaker since Kooba walked away from the wonderfully thick leather they used to use. All in all I'm not impressed, in fact disappointed. I keep hoping that Kooba will draw me back with wonderful bags, but it looks like I'm more likely to see a pig fly by first.

I kind of like the Kate bag shown here http://www.lunaboston.com/ProductInfo/Kooba/20332.aspx in the grapefruit color. But I'd like to see it in person too.

New Kooba styles up on www.Kooba.com.

There is something futuristic about that Harlow purse and am really liking the tri-color mix of the Kristie in colorblock.

they are nicer than what they did for the last few seasons... they seem to be slowly coming back to what they did best... except for leather. I too miss the thick wonderful leathers. I've been stalking the 'bay for the old koobas with this leather... I find the new new ones just not as lust worthy... honestly... as far as good leathers on a new bag, I've moved on to linea pelle... they are so wonderful! I just got a sydney clutch this week and just pulled the trigger on a dylan hobo (thanks for the b-day gift, DH!) this morning, and I can't say enough about the fantastic leather. I wish to high heaven that Kooba would go back to the thick leathers.... then I don't know what I'd do!

I'm for the Blair and will buy. I'm relieved this is an '09, so that I can wait for a year or so to get it on Ebay if not at an outlet or something. I have been purchasing too many bags for my taste lately.

I am going to save my $ for that Fall 09 black bag with the long tie in front and the single shoulder strap. I keep visiting it on the Kooba website, at some point I will know it's name. By the time I can afford it perhaps it will be on sale (on eBay no doubt).

All this will be done unless someone who purchases that model first tells me the leather is think like the Jaylin or Jacinda.
