Hi, I'm new here and just purchased my first Kooba ever, a Jackie Pewter from Neiman Marcus. I also purchased the same purse in Cuoio, but returned it. However, there was a huge difference in the leather. The Cuoio was thick and glossy - very sturdy. The pewter leather was thin, very soft, and seemed delicate.
My question is for anyone who's had metallic Koobas - does the color last? There were already small imperfections and I'm nervous that this purse is prone to stains and tears. If that's the case, I'd rather return, though I love the color. And is it safe to use leather protectors on them? |

Ok, I did an experiment, may seem stupid (I've got a lot of time on my hands since I'm on a break). I took the dust cover, raised a flap on the Jackie bag, and RUBBED the inside leather furiously with the cover. I didn't see anything rub off and the color didn't seem to change. I did it 2-3 times, with much more force than what I think would happen in natural daily life.
![]() would like to hear from anyone who's had a metallic Kooba for a while now and how the leather is holding up. |
