My new Kooba Rachel reveal - Lots of pics!

I LOVE this bag! I managed to scoop it up on Ebay for $291 after the Microsoft Live Cashback. Woohoo!! It's my first Kooba and I am very impressed with the quality, I've heard many positive comments about this bag and now I can see why. The seller was excellent to deal with, she communicated all the way, packaged well and didn't overcharge shipping. She mentioned she's a TPF'r in her listing so if she's lurking, thank you. :)

I've been longing for this bag ever since it first popped up at Luna Boston but it was out of my budget. I was so thrilled when it popped up on Ebay at an affordable price. It is absolutely GORGEOUS, this purple is so deep and with the brass hardware looks so luxe! It's a glazed leather similar to my raspberry Ignes bag. It veins beautifully and changes color depending on the sunlight. It's very comfy on the shoulder and the drop size is perfect. I like the brown canvas lining and it is nice and roomy inside without looking overly large. I've heard some folks comment about the quality of Kooba bags and since this is my first one I really don't have anything to compare it to, I am very pleased however with the quality of this bag.

Thanks karmenzsofia!! I am totally with ya on the budget thing. Even though I got this at a great deal it was still a stretch as far as our budget goes. I just couldn't pass it up though.

I can't stop opening this thread to look at the pictures. Mine is due to arrive Tuesday....wheeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! I can hardly wait! EXCEPT, I just got a gorgeous brand new bag this week that I am in love with -- I will be so torn over which to wear after the new bag arrives. Well, duh, the day it arrives, Rachel will be slung over my shoulder before the UPS truck has even left the yard!

This past Tuesday I got the Marc by Marc Jacobs Faridah bag in Elderberry which is a rich plum and insanely soft smushy/squishy leather. I bought it on a whim and figured I'd stop looking for the Rachel bag, which seemed to always be out of stock everywhere except a couple places....but I couldn't get Rachel out of my mind so like a glutton, I ordered that one too. I shouldn't have gotten 2 high end bags in such a short time but I did and I'm not gonna fret over it.

I know the style but I have not seen the Elderberry, it sounds DIVINE!! Rich shades of burgundy, purple and plum make my heart race...
