I don't think that my Sienna is heavy but I'm used to heavy bags (Edith and Paddy) but if it's to heavy for you return it. Balenciagas are the lightest bags I ever had you might look into these.

I don't find the Sienna heavy either, but everything is relative--the Paddington and the Stam are both quite heavy to me.
Perhaps you could go comparison shopping and try on a few other big bags, and see if you still find the Sienna heavy. I agree with the suggestion to try a Balenciaga bag, but they are much more expensive than the Sienna. |

If you're not used to a heavy bag, then you will hate the Sienna. However, I seem to always have carried a big huge bag filled with heavy stuff so I'm used to it. However, the Kooba Brown Woven ADA Tote is a killer, even for me. I posted about it awhile back but even without anything in it, it is excruciatingly heavy to lift! I will never make the mistake of buying something sight unseen again. I bought it on the website and I regret it now - although I do think it is a beautiful bag.

I just got my Sienna from NM online, and...I feel it's heavy too. It is the heaviest one in all the handbags I have so far. But, it looks nice and it's of really good quality. I guess all I need to do is to get used to this feeling, or, to develop some better physical endurance. :)

just got home.
i find the bag heavy (if you're not used to it), but to me, it's ok. yes it is heavy, but not to the point that it makes my shoulder dislocated. that's my finding. i asked my mom if i should keep this one or return and go for the coach bag, she said - 'don't get the coach, keep that one'. hmm.. maybe she thought this bag is lesser of value. she doesn't know it's just about the same price as the medium signature coach hamptons.. so i've decided to keep her! and buy the coach maybe next month?

I love my Sienna in Moss...even if it is alittle heavy. It's a beautiful bag in a great accent color to go with neutrals.

The Lena is about the same weight as the Sienna. Maybe slightly heavier but compared to the Ada Totes or Botkier Luxe bags they are lightweights. The bag doesn't hurt me at all. But I am used to carrying alot of crap. Books, water bottles, etc... Last night I went to work with 3 books in my Lena besides my other stuff. I don't notice it at all. I got it in the Bark color. A medium brown with a slightly olive sheen. I posted pics in another thread under Kooba Lena.

Anybody else got a Sienna from NM online recently? I'm wondering why the brassware on my Sienna does not look 'antique'. Also, is it suede lining? Thanks!

Yeh, the Moss is a beauty. I was alittle hesitant when I ordered it as I'm more of a neutral gal, but I really enjoy carring it. However, I live in Florida, which has alot of summer downpours, so I don't use it as often as I would like.

ecthelion - yes it's suede lining. the brassware on mine doesn't look 'antiqued' as well. but i dont doubt that it's not real.
