Im not sure where to ask this but figured this forum would be a great starting place. I was in a thrift store today and happened upon a light blue leather bag, there was a cloth "Kooba" label sewed inside on an inner pocket. The lining was very colorful and had like cheerful words written all over. There was no "made in...." label anywhere. The outside had silver chain detail and an outer pocket. There was a "kooba" leather label on the outside of the bag. The leather was odd colored though on the corners and some areas. Im not sure if it was color transfer or not. I don't know this brand at all and wouldnt take a chance if it were a fake or not. Any ideas?

It's very possible it was the real deal. Older kooba's had a cloth label sewn in and very colorful linings, it is impossible to tell for sure without seeing it. But, it definitely sounds like a possible older kooba. If it was a really great deal, it would be worth a shot IMO.

I did run back to the store and bought the bag. it is similar to this bag (not my auction) except my bag is light blue in color and bigger. No chain for the strap.
