Default Kooba on Billion Dollar Babes 5/22
I have just become a member of this site and noticed today that they are having a Kooba sale on 5/22. No idea whether it will be good or not, but it might be worth checking out.

You have to be a member, but you can join by going to www.bagbible.com and scroll down the page. On the left hand side there is a section called Private Sales Invitations. Click on Billion Dollar Babes.

Cool info. I'm always up for a Kooba sale!

It's always great to have another sale site but man...$100 to upgrade to VIP member for earlier access? I guess I'm just going to have to hope I can get items when able to log in. In the meantime I'll check out the sales, prices, etc. and see if it's worth it. I wish they let you preview the sale, too.

Thanks for sharing this!

I just realized that link gives some unknown person a credit for the referrals (I don't mind people getting referrals, I just like to give them to family/friends, etc. if possible). I should have checked first what it was and looked for a free one on Google. Afterward I got some message that someone accepted MY invite. I don't know anyone by the name indicated and hadn't sent any invites at that point. I imagine THEY actually got the credit. Weird.

That is weird. I just happened upon the bagbible.com site this morning and saw the invites. I had joined all the others (Gilt, etc) , so why not billion dollar babe?!! When I saw the Kooba was going to be featured I thought there might be tpf'ers that would want to know. I didn't think about the referral issue!

What I think is even more weird is that I sent the info on to some of my friends/family and they all joined, but I haven't gotten a message that any of them accepted my invite!

^^ Strangely, I sent one invite to a friend and she accepted....but I've not received any notification that she did. I think they're fairly new (online) so maybe their system is a bit wonky.

Whatever the case, can't wait to see what they have at the Kooba sale! Hope the prices are really good.

Billion Dollar Babes' online sales are great! You actually don't even need to be invited to join, you can sign up for free at www.billiondollarbabes.com. Kooba's sale is Friday!!

The way their referrals work is that you get a credit once someone has placed an order, not signed up. So you will have the credit once the purchase has been made.

^^ I believe we both meant the same thing - as with any of the sites you don't get a 'credit' until your referred person makes a purchase. What I meant was that I received no notification that the person I referred 'accepted' the invite, which the other sites (Ruelala, as an example) do...but I received a notification that some person unknown to me accepted my invite/referral and signed up. I have no idea who they are and I didn't send them an invite.

Glad to hear their sales are great. I also found a promo code for the Kooba sale for additional $ off so I'm hoping the selection includes one of my 'must haves'. Woohoo!

I logged in at 8am, and it says "Sale Has Ended!" I don't get it. Does this mean the VIP presale cleared all their stock?

The prices are pretty darn good but I don't think I'm going to buy anything. I really thought the price on an Elisha in patent Merlot was great until I realized they've completely mixed up the Devin, Elisha and Bonnie. The names don't match the pictures....so...how do I know which to hit to get the Elisha? Does the price go with the picture or the listed name? They all say One Size so that doesn't help.

The Elisha pics says Bonnie and has a price that would be fitting with a Bonnie. The Bonnie says Devin and has a high price. The Devin pic says Elisha and has a low price. What the heck? They indicate 'shoulder' on the one with the Bonnie pic so that must be the Devin. The other two say 'satchel' and 'tote' respectively. Should I assume the median priced one is the Elisha? I don't want to chance hitting what I think might be the Elisha and ending up with a bag I didn't want.

has anyone gotten any bags from this Kooba sale? I'm debating on a sharon in honey ($225), and a gretchen in straw ($208).... opinions? Really like the sharon but it's a bit more structured than I usually prefer. Wondering if it's more softer looking in person. I like the honey color quite a bit. I'd purchased a halle in honey last year but returned it because it was a bit small for my every day tastes.

They have some GREAT clutches at good prices too. Still a lot of inventory, only a couple of the bags are sold out.

I purchased what I thought was an Elisha but it looks like they have all the Patent Merlot photos incorrectly placed. I did email them just now and am hoping I get what I wanted, since this is a final sale.

The description with the Gretchen models say in suede which is incorrect. I'm thinking I should have passed this sale up-too many mistakes on the listings. God knows what you'll get with no returns.
