Kooba made in China?

I was surprised to see a "handcrafted in china" tag inside my new Kooba cameron. Please tell me that that is where they are made and I did not get ripped off. Thanks

All Koobas are made in China.

I know, it sounds strange to me also. You would expect Italy or some place like it.
