Exactly!! As well, if you look at the Rachel/Ellie line on page 6 of the Fall 08 bags on Kooba's website: http://www.kooba.com/fall08_6.html

..the hardware is remarkably reminiscent of that on the Brooklyn and her sisters, which to me is a GOOD thing!

Love the Remi - the styling really grabs me...alas, I know she will be too small. Fortunately, her big sister Janine will be coming to live with me!

I so agree - maybe there is a metallic+animal print style that's coming - but if that's how it will look, I won't bee participating.

I got mine at Nordstrom SF. They had only been there for a day the guy said. And...they only had one! post pics when I get a chance...

^^^ Talk about being in the right place at the right time! Thanks for sharing the pic - I love the deep color. What do you think of the leather? There were many complaints this past spring season about the change in the leather to a less substantial, thin, lower quality leather ....some of which had a weird 'processed' smell. The leather on your Janine looks better to me and has that wonderful 'wrinkliness' reminiscent of the claudia/lucy/smooth black sienna bags!

I'm hoping you're going to tell us the leather rocks!!

well, it's my first Kooba bag, so I'm not sure how the leather compares...I'm certainly no expert. It's really soft but thinner than the black Kylie I also bought that day (much thinner). It really is super soft though. The smell is fine with me, too. I guess I'm not super picky though. Will try to post more pics soon. :)
