Default Kooba Avery - may have made a mistake

Ok - it's already too late...but I'm thinking not authentic.

Can anyone give me good news?

Hey - is that you that bought the Avery? Let us know when you receive and post pics! I'd love to see it. I have to say that the Avery is one of the bags I know little to nothing about. I've never seen one IRL and some of the fakes are reeeeally accurate with that style and unless you get lots of good close ups of the leather it's hard to gauge.

I will say that in the few pics the seller listed the leather looked pretty good. Post to the forum when it arrives!

P.S. Why were you thinking not authentic? Let us know what your concerns were.

I am working on it right now, but I have to run to an appointment, so I won't be able to finish up until later today.

Well, I thought I had found where Sonche99 had actually purchased this bag, but when I went back, I couldn't find it. What I did find was that bags were private (difficult to trace to seller), but the other listings were not. You won't find that oversight on a porno seller's site. lolol Also, there were gaps in the selling history per the feedback.

I did find another Kooba Avery that has white tag strings, which I consider to be the hallmark of a fake, and the sign of a really cheap mfg.er and seller. Try this = Completed item #260247372372, seller = 2earthangels06.

I mention this other listing for two reasons. 1. A helpful comparison to Sonche99's listing, and 2. 2eathangels06 was accused of fakery and withdrew feedback as a result. Is there a list here of funky sellers?

earthangel is on my list of funky sellers. A white string is not always a sign of a fake. Amost all bags from the Kooba Sample Sale had white strings and so does department store bags but the Avery was so so highly faked any Avery on eBay is suspect. The quality of the leather may be it's only clue. Is it thin and rather wrinkly? If you don't have experience knowing alot of Kooba's leathers it may be hard to discern.
