Hey everyone! I am mulling over searching for a Jillian - I love the look of this bag with the studs! It seems like it will be big enough for me, but in reading various comments it seems like maybe the shallow depth may be an issue. I was only able to find one picture of the bag on here with "stuff" in it, and it was hard to get an idea of what was inside.
Can you lovely ladies help me out? What can fit in your gorgeous Jillians? Descriptions would be great, pics would be even better!

I don't have my Jillian anymore but the size was a problem. It's so short of a bag and then it's rounded stiffly. So your stuff has to fit into the rounded shape and still have it snapped. No paperbacks, so water bottles. A small wallet, a small cosmetic case, and other odds and ends are all that it holds comfortablt. If you stuff it too much when you open it stuff will want to fall out.
But it's a rockin' bag. Very cool. I held onto that bag a long long time because of that reason. |

greenpixie - I just purchased a Jillian last month, but I have already sold it. The bag was very cool and I loved the leather and the studs, but I agree with Lexie on the size.

I obsessed over a Jillian for a very long time, and I never got the chance to pick one up, but I think the size would have been perfect for me because I carry so very little in my bag anyway....i.e., wallet, small makeup pouch, sunglasses, keys, gum and a business card holder. That would have been about it for the Jillian.

Thank you so, so much for your honest feedback. You all have confirmed my suspicions that it will be too small for me to use everyday, so I will continue my search for the perfect studded bag.
It is such a rockin style though.

It was a beautiful bag, but sooooooo heavy! And the black sealant on the edge of the handles fell off in places after about a year, very noticeable since it was white underneath! I gave it to my daughter.

Hey Green Pixie....maybe you'd want the Ada. I just bought one a couple weeks ago on the Bay. It's much much bigger but has the same hot stud look. Now, it does weigh alot....alot ALOT but it's so hot. Ada's pop up on ebay from time to time.

I love my Jillian but because of the small size, i've only held onto it for use when i'm going somewhere that involves a lot of standing or walking and want to carry only the minimum - like a museum or the zoo.
